We stopped by for lunch on our drive to the catskills and it hit the spot. We ordered two large dishes: the fried whole sea bass and beef noodle soup- it didn’t feel heavy at all and the flavors were great. It was actually the perfect size for two. The interior seems renovated and modern, bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of parking.

Unassuming yet delivering outstanding food, service, and prices in a beautiful little place, Grub is a fantastic spot for anacks, drinks, coffee, work in off hours, lunch, dates, dinner w the fam, nights out, and gatherings with colleagues. I’ve been here many times and have enjoyed different experiences/ different foods/ different reasons each time. The coffees are so satisfying, the meals are huge and savory, the appetizers perfect to share with friends; the list goes on. It’s a beautiful space and they never disappoint, in spite of having such a varied menu of items to offer! The diverse cuisines available are so fun, unique, unexpected, and soooo fresh and delicious. This is my go-to spot if we don’t know where to go, can’t decide, or especially if someone in the group hasn’t been yet! (I love to turn someone new onto Grub; weirdly it’s like a secret even though it should be the hottest spot out there.)

Hands down the best Asian restaurant in Rockland, even my Greek Grandpa loves Grub (and that’s saying a lot). My family has been coming here for years. The owner is very friendly and cooks with love! My favorite is the Panang Curry and I get it spicy. My families favorite is the Drunken Noodles, Buffalo Cauliflower, Tofu Tower, Chicken Wings, Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and much more! Highly recommend checking this place out!

This place is the definition of identity crisis. Not sure what the “fusion” is referring to since the menu is all over the place, ranging from poutine to pad thai. Not asian fusion poutine either, just straight up fries, cheese, and gravy. The food wasn’t good. I got the pad thai with chicken at a spice level medium. First off, this would’ve been mild to a newborn baby. I didn’t taste any spice whatsoever and it tasted way too sweet. There was a lack of acidity as well, without any lime served alongside the dish to freshen it up . The vegetables were still really crunchy and I was not expecting a giant fried egg on top. I’m a pad thai lover, and this is scraping the bottom of my list. I think I’ve had instant pad thai better than this. It was just so bland and mushy. I didn’t even bother asking for a to-go box, and I hate food waste. Service was meh (got put on hold for 5 minutes instantly after calling to try and make a reservation, and no one came by to re-fill our waters or anything). Atmosphere is a little weird, part hipster, part wine mom, and part … i’m not sure… warehouse? Why can I get a hamburger and fries along side my panang curry? Maybe the “fusion” referred to is the fusion between people who like subpar Thai food and people who like Chicken Parm Sliders. My friend got the fish tacos and fries, he said he’s had better fish tacos. The fish was all cut up to the point where it looked like onions. My other friend got the vegetarian dumplings, again, she said she’s had better. I would skip this place, or at least bring your own hot sauce and seasoning.
