About Grinds 2 Da Max

Located at 6825 W Russell Rd Ste 135 in Las Vegas, Grinds 2 Da Max, while categorized on some platforms as a Chinese Restaurant, specializes in serving delicious Hawaiian food to local users. This establishment offers both dine-in and takeaway options, catering to different preferences.

According to customer feedback, Grinds 2 Da Max has garnered attention for its flavorful Hawaiian cuisine. One reviewer who loves Hawaiian food found the offerings to be exceptional, describing the food as "Da Bomb!" They noted the popularity of the restaurant, mentioning that it is situated in a small space within Wantai Plaza, leading to limited seating. Despite this, the reviewer observed that all tables were consistently full, and many customers were waiting for their orders or in line to place them, indicating a high demand for their food.

The menu seems to feature popular items like the Dynamite katsu chicken, which was recommended as a popular plate. While one customer found this dish to be decent but not particularly outstanding, another reviewer raved about the overall flavor of the food, with the only slight critique being about the Hawaiian style Poke, which they felt could have had a little more flavor compared to the other highly flavorful dishes.

First time here and wanted to try something different. Asked what the most popular plate was and told the Dynamite katsu chicken. I ordered with the spicy sauce on the side and felt the chicken itself was pretty decent. Rice is rice. The sauce was ok. Nothing really stood out or made me want to come back again. I can say this is the last time I’ll ever order Katsu chicken as every place I’ve order this item, it’s just average or below average tasting. In my opinion. Just nothing really stands out. Just breaded chicken is all it is. Paid 16+ dollars for this meal and would say not quite worth it but wasn’t bad tasting service was OK.

I saw Grinds 2 Da Max on Instagram and while I was in Las Vegas, I just happen to have a friend come here a couple days before I did. The picture of the food looked great, so we decided to check it out as I love good Hawaiian food. Well, Grinds 2 Da Max did not disappoint! The food is Da Bomb! They are located in the Wantai Plaza, unfortunately in a tiny space so there was not much tables to sit at if you wanted to eat in. Most people were doing take out. We were fortunate to get a table, so we did dine in. The whole time we were here, all the table were full and plenty of people waiting for their order or in line waiting to order. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed full of flavor! The only thing that could have had a little more flavor was the Hawaiian style Poke, but it could have been because everything else was packed full of flavor. When you are in Las Vegas, You need to come to Grinds 2 Da Max for some awesome Hawaiian food!

Overall, our experience here was pretty good. My wife really likes the spicy masago poke, can definitely taste the freshness. The portion of the poke bowl was on the smaller than expected side, but probably because of the fresh fish. The picked mango jars are also really good. The garlic ahi was good despite asking for some red in the middle and it was cooked through. I’d try another ahi dish next time. The garlic mix would definitely be good with shrimp. The fried noodles were okay, however they were missing some type of meat like char siu or spam to make it complete. Meat jun and kalbi plate was good, however for the price i’d get it from somewhere that includes choosing your 4 sides to go with the plate. The crab mac salad stands out, having crab in the mac added a nice twist to a popular side. One of the few places that serve diamond head soda which was a surprise. They also have orange bang, lilikoi and green river. The service here was top notch, cashier was super friendly and took time to explain menu items despite being busy. Smaller store on the inside with minimal seating to dine in. When it gets busy, expect to take it home or eat in the car.

This place is bussyyyyyy, but people are in and out pretty fast. The food was good, we had the dynamite chicken.. which was great crispy. I’m not a big wasabi fan, so didn’t love the sauce. The beef jun was definitely our favorite thing. The loco moco had great flavor to it. Food took a little to get to us but overall it’s a good Hawaiian spot.

Tried this spot out because I was told it's the best Hawaiian food in Las Vegas. I was disappointed - because it wasn't. Took the family out, each had their own plate and order the fried noodles on the side because it was recommended - a must! The salmon was delicious; the garlic chicken tasted "fishy" & the teppanyaki was ok. The fried noodles - I didn't see why it was a MUST. I took 2 bites and was done with it. It was almost like chow mein and I'm not sure what the pink stuff was. The plates were about $16-$20, it came with your meat, 1 scoop of rice & another under the meat, small container maybe equivalent to 1 scoop of potatoes & mac salad and a little container (like a sauce container) for the kimchi.
