About Green Wasabi

Green Wasabi is a Chinese restaurant located in Shalimar, Florida, offering a menu that includes both Japanese and Chinese cuisine, such as sushi and General Tso’s Chicken. While categorized as a Chinese restaurant on the platform, Green Wasabi provides a fusion of Asian flavors.

Environment: No specific details about the restaurant's ambiance are provided in the reviews.

Services: Service experiences appear to be mixed. One reviewer praised a younger server for being very attentive and doing a great job. They also mentioned generous soup portions and a complementary candy with the bill, indicating positive aspects of the service. However, another customer reported receiving "tiny rolls for full price" on their last two orders exceeding $50, leading to dissatisfaction and loss of their business. This suggests inconsistency in the perceived value and portion sizes.

Features: Green Wasabi offers sushi, which one customer found to be good and affordably priced. Another highlight was the General Tso’s Chicken, which impressed a customer with its level of heat/spice. However, a significant concern raised by a reviewer is the small size of the sushi rolls relative to the price, leading them to not recommend the restaurant.

Promotional Information: The provision of a complementary candy with the bill could be seen as a small promotional gesture. One satisfied customer expressed their intention to return and hoped for the same server. For local users in US interested in sushi and Chinese food delivery in Shalimar, Florida, Green Wasabi offers both. However, potential customers should be aware of the reported issue with small sushi roll portions for the price, which significantly impacted one customer's experience.

Our server was on the younger side, she very attentive and did a great job attending our table as well as another who came in just before us. The soup portion was very generous! The sushi was good and was affordably priced, my partner got the General Tso’s Chicken and was impressed at the level of heat/spice to it. They give a complementary candy when they bring the bill. Will definitely be back, hopefully with the same server.

They give me such tiny rolls for full price. Definitely lost my business, the last two times I have spent over 50 dollars for a few sushi rolls and they give me barely anything. I'm never ordering from here again, I do not reccomend this restaurant.

I have had a lot of Asian cuisine and this doesn't really cut it. So first off there is no ambiance or background music all you hear is the whirring of whatever machine is working in the background. The food wasn't totally disgusting but it has much to be desired. Pretty much every item had some sort of weird taste including the rice which was probably the best thing I ate. The sushi is super big which I guess to some that might be a pro but when you have to cut nigiri in half to eat it I think that's a problem. The sesame chicken I had was smothered in some sort of gelatinous sauce that wasn't really that appetizing and the chicken itself wasn't that great either. I spent a little over $30 on food and most if not all of it in my opinion was a little below par. The only reason I gave 3 stars for service is because my waitress was one of the owners kids that I'm sure was underage but overall she was nice. I hope they can revamp their ingredients or how they cook because I feel like it wasn't too bad but it just wasn't that great.

I have been eating here since 2018 and while I tend to stick to a similar order each time I always enjoy the food. I have eaten in the restaurant maybe 2 times but its my go to when I want to go food, we've probably ordered to go from here over 50 times. My husband and I joke it's our buffet night because we order a good amount each time. We always get the gyoza, shrimp fried rice, some sort of lo mein (veggie lo mein is my favorite), orange chicken, and broccoli beef. We frequently order egg rolls, egg drop soup, miso soup, Tempura, Seaweed salad as well as other mains, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, etc. These items are always good flavor, super fresh, never had any issues. I may on occasion get a little sushi, sometimes a sashimi salad, but we have other favorite sushi spots so it's rare. We always place our orders through the website, we have never had to check the order at pickup. Everything is always correct, neatly packed in the bags with all of the condiments and cutlery we will need. On occasion it has taken a little longer for them to prepare the food than the website stated when we ordered but as I said we place very large orders so I think it's reasonable. This is a small family establishment and they are very kind and take great care to provide good food. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for some good, comforting food. I wasn't feeling well today and this is just what I needed to help me feel better.

Apparently they’re going out of business, and it’s obvious why. I suggest staying far away until they do. We ordered last Friday and the food was absolutely wretched from the rotten fish to the black, CRUNCHY avocado (both were so blatant that it doesn’t take a chef to know it’s too disgusting to serve to a customer) in my sushi. Incredibly disappointed, but thankful they won’t be open long enough to keep stealing customers money this way. I wish I would have gotten pictures before I threw it in the garbage out of pure disgust. I called to let them know, and was met with “That’s all? Okay, thank you. Bye bye!”
