Green Tea

The portions were big, and the food was delicious and nutritious, but if you want my current recommendation, you have to try the Singapore Mei Fun! It spicy (without being too spicy) with Chicken and shrimp, dusted with curry, it’s the best!!!

Never thought I would be giving Chinese take out five stars but here we are! They are very unassuming so don’t be fooled by the humble storefront, they have some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Their menu is very extensive including a vegetarian section. The portions are huge! We both got two more meals out of them. I loved that I could order the sauce on the side and control the amount. They also let you customize online ordering with no onions, etc. Their egg rolls and spring rolls were much heartier than other places. It is more of a take out location and not a dine in. We will be back.

I have tried green tea twice with my boyfriend. He has lived here for his entire life but I moved to lake Alfred from Avon park FL almost a year ago, and have heard everyone talk about this place. I went once and didn’t like the food, but after hearing more good things I decided to try it again. I got the spring roll,veggie lomein & sesame chicken, plain fried rice. My boyfriend got the egg roll, orange chicken and plain fried rice. The food looked very good but I did not like it again and neither did he. he said it seems like they changed the recipe or are doing something different. To me the food barely has any sort of taste, the lomein was really greasy. both of our fried rice tasted like it was cooked in a dirty wok and had black pieces throughout. I took a few small bites and that was it. I know this is a small business but $31 wasted and no way to request a refund. I am sad because I know everyone raves about this place but we won’t be coming back. :(

Absolutely outstanding! We ordered Hot and Spicy Beef and Sweet and Sour Chicken! Each dinner came with an egg roll as well. Sweet and sour comes on the side (which we prefer!). Great parking. I couldn’t complain about anything if I tried. We’ll be back!

For the first time in 10 years since moving from a small town looking for hot and sour soup like I use to get i have now found it!!! It has a little more added to it meat wise than my hometown one had but it tastes the same, the lo mein was absolutely amazing and the sweet and sour chicken was also on point.. will def recommend this place and will most certainly come back for the food!!!!
