Operating under the platform category of "Chinese Restaurant," it offers a variety of Chinese cuisine options for local users. They can be contacted at (270) 393-9922 or via their mobile number +1 270-393-9922 for orders and inquiries.

Based on the available online customer reviews, the experiences at Great Wall Restaurant appear to be somewhat varied. One recent review expressed significant dissatisfaction with several dishes. The customer reported that their shrimp fried rice was unusually yellow and lacked vegetables, deviating from their expectations. Furthermore, the Kung Pao chicken ordered by their husband was described as "super tasteless." The crab Rangoon was rated as "decent at best." This reviewer strongly advised others to "save yourself the money and go elsewhere," indicating a considerably negative dining experience.

Conversely, another customer shared a much more positive perspective. This reviewer expressed regret for not discovering the restaurant sooner, highlighting its speed and delicious food. They specifically praised the hot and sour soup paired with a shrimp or egg roll as a satisfying meal. Additionally, they found the "Shrimp and scallops" dish to be "fantastic" as a larger meal. On a subsequent visit, the "House Special Wonton soup" was described as substantial enough to be a meal on its own, containing not just wontons but also shrimp and vegetables, and being "choc full" in a "delicious" container. This customer's experience suggests that Great Wall Restaurant is "fast becoming a favorite," indicating a high level of satisfaction with the food and perhaps the service.

Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment and services of Great Wall Restaurant based solely on this information. The positive review's emphasis on speed might suggest a focus on efficient service, potentially catering to both dine-in and takeout customers. The mention of specific dishes like soups and combination meals implies a diverse menu beyond standard rice and entree options. However, without more information, details about the restaurant's ambiance, seating capacity, or the overall dining experience are not available.

In terms of features, Great Wall Restaurant, as a Chinese restaurant, likely offers a range of popular Chinese-American dishes. The mention of shrimp fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, shrimp and scallops, and House Special Wonton soup provides a glimpse into their menu offerings. The positive review suggests that some of their soups are particularly noteworthy and generously portioned. However, the inconsistency in the quality and preparation of dishes, as highlighted by the negative review of the shrimp fried rice and Kung Pao chicken, could be a point of concern for potential customers.

Currently, there is no promotional information explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Chinese restaurants often offer lunch specials, combination deals, or discounts for takeout orders. Local users interested in any potential promotions or special offers at Great Wall Restaurant may need to contact the restaurant directly via phone or inquire in person.

In conclusion, Great Wall Restaurant in Bowling Green presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While one customer experienced significant issues with the quality and preparation of their ordered dishes, another had multiple positive experiences, praising the taste, speed, and generous portions of certain items, particularly the soups and the shrimp and scallops. Local users considering dining at Great Wall Restaurant should be aware of these differing opinions. It might be prudent to try some of the dishes that received positive feedback, such as the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, shrimp and scallops, or the House Special Wonton soup, while also being mindful of the reported inconsistencies in other dishes like the shrimp fried rice and Kung Pao chicken. Further information or more consistent reviews would be beneficial in forming a more comprehensive understanding of the overall dining experience at this establishment.

I ordered shrimp fried rice…since when did shrimp fried rice become yellow and with no veggies in it? My husband had the kung pao chicken that was super tasteless. I also ordered crab Rangoon which was decent at best. Save yourself the money and go elsewhere.

I'm sorry it took me so long to find it. It's fast and super tasty. Hot and sour soup and a shrimp or egg roll makes a great meal. Shrimp and scallops is a bigger meal and was fantastic. Another trip, the House Special Wonton soup was a meal in itself. Not just wontons but shrimp and some veggies. The container was delicious and Choc full. Great Wall is fast becoming a favorite.

Disappointing. Paid for “brown rice” and what showed up was white rice with either food coloring or cooked in yellow chicken broth. Also paid an up charge for “beef lo mein” with my entree and rather than in a separate container, they simply filled half the entree container with lo mein. They were able to reduce the entree quantity by 50% while charging more money. Food itself was OK, nothing special. Try somewhere else.

I ordered sesame chicken. The rice was kinda hard and the chicken was really stringy. Egg rolls were good. Paid .50 cents for 3 fortune cookies (since when do fortune cookies not come with the meal?) and only received two. Not a great birthday dinner.

As a delivery driver, I was picking up an order at your establishment. When I arrived, I was asked to confirm the order by taking a photo. However, I was not given the bag to do so. I noticed that the worker handed the bag directly to the driver before me, who appeared to be white, without requiring similar confirmation, until after receiving the order nor was required to show proof. This discrepancy in treatment made me feel uncomfortable and singled out, and I am concerned it may indicate bias in how workers interact with delivery drivers. I hope this is not reflective of your company’s values or practices. I kindly request that you review this incident, speak to the staff involved, and ensure that all delivery drivers are treated equally, regardless of their background.
