About Great Wall

Great Wall is a Chinese restaurant located at 2800 NW 63rd St #600 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a part of the Chinese restaurant category, it aims to provide local users with a variety of Chinese-inspired dishes. While specific details about the restaurant's environment, such as its ambiance and decor, are not provided in the given information, Chinese restaurants often strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. This can range from casual and family-friendly to more formal settings, depending on the establishment's style and target clientele. Without further information, it's challenging to describe the specific environment of this Great Wall location.

Similarly, the provided information does not detail the specific services offered by Great Wall, such as dine-in, take-out, or delivery options. Many Chinese restaurants typically offer a combination of these services to cater to different customer preferences. Dine-in service allows customers to enjoy their meals at the restaurant, often providing a social and relaxed setting. Take-out service offers the convenience of enjoying restaurant food at home or another location. Delivery services extend this convenience further by bringing the food directly to the customer's doorstep. To ascertain the exact services provided by Great Wall, it would be necessary to consult their website or contact them directly.

The features that distinguish a Chinese restaurant can include the specific regional cuisine it offers (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Mandarin), signature dishes, the use of fresh and authentic ingredients, and the skill of the chefs. Without menu details or specific descriptions of Great Wall's culinary approach, it's difficult to highlight its unique features. However, Chinese cuisine is known for its diverse flavors, ranging from savory and spicy to sweet and sour, and often involves a variety of cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, and roasting.

The limited customer feedback available paints a concerning picture regarding the current state of Great Wall. One customer expressed a significant decline in quality, specifically mentioning that the "chicken on the stick" has become "super small." This customer, who previously enjoyed the restaurant, now feels that Great Wall prioritizes profit over quality, especially given the perceived high prices. This suggests a potential issue with portion sizes relative to the cost and an overall dissatisfaction with the value proposition.

Another customer shared a negative experience with two orders of sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. This review described both chicken orders as "extremely old" and noted that the grease had an unpleasant taste. This is a serious concern regarding food freshness and preparation quality. The customer concluded that the meal was "not worth it for the price," echoing the sentiment of the first reviewer about the value not aligning with the cost.

The consistency in these negative reviews, both focusing on issues related to food quality and value for money, should be a significant consideration for local users in Oklahoma City contemplating dining at Great Wall. The feedback suggests potential problems with the freshness of ingredients, the quality of cooking, and portion sizes relative to the price point. These are critical factors that often influence a customer's dining experience and their decision to return to a restaurant.

Given these recent criticisms, it is advisable for potential customers to approach Great Wall with caution. While past experiences might have been positive (as implied by the first reviewer's statement "I used to love this place"), the current feedback indicates a potential downturn in the restaurant's standards. Local users might want to consider these recent experiences when making their dining choices.

At this time, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals that Great Wall might be running. Chinese restaurants sometimes offer lunch specials, early bird discounts, or family meal deals to attract customers. To find out if Great Wall currently has any promotions, it would be best to check their website, social media pages (if they have any), or contact them directly via phone. Promotional offers can sometimes enhance the perceived value and make a dining experience more appealing.

In conclusion, Great Wall Chinese Restaurant at 2800 NW 63rd St #600 in Oklahoma City is a part of the local Chinese dining scene. However, recent customer reviews raise concerns about a decline in food quality, specifically regarding freshness and portion sizes, especially when considering the price. Potential local users should take these recent experiences into account when deciding whether to dine at this establishment. Information regarding the restaurant's environment, specific services offered, unique features, and any current promotions is not available in the provided text and would require further investigation.

Quality has drastically fallen. The chicken on the stick is super small now. I used the love this place, but it seems they don't care anymore. They just want to make as much money as they can. For a place to be this high in price the food needs to be better.

We got two orders of sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Both orders of chicken were extremely old and the grease had a bad taste. Not worth it for the price.

I’m so glad I decided to stop by this restaurant, today! I ordered the General Tso chicken special and a side of rangoons. The meal came with yellow rice that has onion, carrot bits and peas mixed in. Everything was delicious! The chicken was very savory and I could actually taste the peppers used in the sauce where at most other places, this dish seems to have more of a sweet taste. This was a more rich and warm flavor I had been searching for. The rice, served with the chicken, also was yum! I had read another review saying this place has the best rangoons in town…well…they were correct! They included a big bowl of sweet and sour sauce that was not needed. The rangoons had great flavor (no sauce needed) and had a lot of filling in them! Also the egg roll was crispy and tasty. Literally everything was delicious and amazing and I’m so glad I stopped in and ordered from them, today! From order to pick up, I was in their lobby for under 10min. I will definitely be returning to try other items on their menu. Please stop by and give this place your business.

It took them almost 2 hours to give my uber driver her food . Very disappointed. I had to call up there and get nasty with them over it. They said they didn’t know that’s they had a uber order. Food wasn’t even prepared. I’m just thankful my uber driver was kind enough to wait for my food. But the good news is I tipped her in cash a pretty good amount for this Christmas holiday and I normally don’t tip cash. But it was worth it to me.
