Customer feedback regarding Great Wall Chinese Restaurant presents a somewhat mixed picture. On one hand, a recent enthusiastic review declares it the "BEST Chinese restaurant in Miami," emphasizing the tasteful and fresh food served in huge portions. This reviewer particularly loves the menu options and highly recommends trying the unique steak and cheese roll, describing the entire experience as "yummy." Additionally, the lunch special is praised as amazing, making it an ideal spot for a midday meal. The fried chicken wings are also highlighted as an addictive must-try item.

On the other hand, another recent customer expressed significant disappointment with the quality of the food in their last two orders. This reviewer, who seems to have been a regular, specifically mentioned a decline in the taste of the fried rice. In their most recent order, a "bucket" of special fried rice was deemed unsatisfactory, leading to the belief that there might have been a change in cooks. While acknowledging that the staff are very nice, this customer felt that the taste and overall quality of the food were no longer up to their previous standards, especially considering that Great Wall Chinese Restaurant was once considered the best. A previous large order for a party, costing over $150, also included special fried rice and chicken fried rice that were described as "really bad." Furthermore, this reviewer noted that the portion size of the honey chicken appeared to be getting smaller.

Considering these contrasting viewpoints, it appears that while Great Wall Chinese Restaurant has the potential to deliver exceptional dishes and a positive dining experience, as highlighted by one reviewer, there may be inconsistencies in food quality, particularly concerning the fried rice and potentially the portion sizes of some items like the honey chicken, as noted by another. The positive review suggests that certain menu items, such as the steak and cheese roll, lunch specials, and fried chicken wings, are particularly noteworthy and well-received.

As a Chinese Restaurant in Miami, Great Wall likely offers a broad range of classic Chinese dishes to cater to various tastes. The mention of fried rice, honey chicken, and fried chicken wings indicates that these popular staples are part of their menu. The unique steak and cheese roll suggests that they might also offer some creative or fusion-style options. Lunch specials are also a feature, potentially providing value-oriented meals during the daytime.

The services offered likely include both dine-in and takeout. The positive mention of a "new favorite spot" implies a welcoming environment for dining at the restaurant. The negative review also pertains to orders that were taken out, indicating that takeout service is available. It is advisable to inquire directly with the restaurant about potential delivery services and their operating hours.

In conclusion, Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Miami presents a varied experience for its customers. While some rave about the delicious and generously portioned food, particularly recommending the steak and cheese roll, lunch specials, and fried chicken wings, others have noticed a decline in the quality of certain dishes like the fried rice and potentially a reduction in portion sizes for items such as the honey chicken. Potential customers may want to consider trying some of the highly recommended items to assess the quality for themselves and should be aware of the recent feedback regarding inconsistencies. For the most up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any current promotions, please contact Great Wall Chinese Restaurant directly at (305) 232-2757 or +1 305-232-2757.

I must admit that the last two times I have ordered everyone has complained about the taste of the fried rice. I got a bucket of special fried rice 2 days ago. I think they must have changed cooks. Very nice people, but the taste add quality of the food is no longer good. They used to be the best at one point. Very disappointed in the change. The time before that I spent over $150 for a large party and the special fried rice and the chicken fried rice were really bad as well. And the honey chicken is getting smaller also.

Simply the BEST Chinese restaurant in Miami and I had a lot. The food is tasteful, fresh and comes with huge portions. This is my new favorite spot! I love everything about their menu options. This place screams “yummy”. They have a steak and cheese roll that you have to try! On top of that, their lunch special is amazing which makes this joint the perfect place to go. Please try the fried chicken wings, It’s so addictive 😊

I got the sweet and sour chicken dinner combo. The chicken was a bit light and was very bland. The sweet and sour sauce was also a bit bland. The rice was okay. I did not receive the wonton soup, but other than that, it was not a bad price. $10 for a meal fit for 2-3 people. The egg roll was pretty good. The food was hot and it was done in just about 15 minutes, so I'd recommend this place if you're in a rush and don't want to go far.

Love this place. Food is always fresh. When they tell you 20 min they mean 20 minutes. one time they forgot the rice and a guy came to my house in a bad bad rain and hand delivered plus gave us 1 box free on the house. Now that's good business

They are open again! For pick up or delivery only. Closed on Monday. They are pretty good. Only disappointment is they don't put slices of pork into their mixed soup like most Chinese restaurants do. But it usually had more than 2 wontons! Pictures are of Hunan Chicken, which comes with white rice - fried rice available for an upcharge. House Special Pan Fried Noodles (a bit greasy) has shrimp (2 or 3), scallops (just 2) and chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn & some other veggies, comes with white rice. Prices are fair. Combo meals come with fried rice & egg roll. The soup is extra. Lots of other restaurants include soup (& even ribs) with their combos. It's one of the few remaining Chinese restaurants in the area. They have new hours now Tuesday- Sunday 12 - 9pm. When you call in, your food is ready in about 15 minutes to be picked up. I'd recommend this place.
