Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

I love this place! It has many different options you can choose from. Everytime I have went the food has always been fresh. The staff is really friendly and always filling up your drinks. The price isn't too bad considering it's a buffet and is cheaper than the others located around me. The peanut butter chicken is my favorite at this location! The seafood donut is also very good. They are always filling up the food and keeping it fresh. The weekends are busy especially right when they open. If you choose to go later in the day it is still fresh! The place is clean including the bathrooms. I am a frequent visitor of this location and have not had any issues. This restaurant is good to bring children as well! They have mac & cheese, onion rings, chicken nuggets, fish and many more options for kids to choose from! Stop by and give it a try if you haven't already!

This place is honestly disgusting. I went a couple two days ago and now I have food poisoning. Not surprised with how dirty and unsanitary this place is. If they keep the buffet and atmosphere as dirty as they keep the kitchen that we can’t see, I wouldn’t even want to know. Never coming back

Go when it's fresh. On second thought...don't. we went today at lunchtime and it still wasn't great. It used to be delicious, but not the last few times we've gone. I keep hoping it will be what it once was.

Great Wall has been a staple of Huntington for over a decade. They are the sole survivor of the great Chinese Buffet wars of the early 2000's, when King's Garden and Hong Kong duked it out for the hearts and stomachs of Huntington's hungriest citizens. They feature a rather average buffet with all of your typical westernized Chinese dishes spread across 4 tables and a whole section for ice cream. If you come during peak times, the food is hot and fresh. Come before closing or on other off-times and you might get some old stuff or a smaller selection. The food is good, but nothing special in the Chinese Buffet world. It's pretty consistent with that you'd find elsewhere. The crab rangoon is outstanding, as is their fried fish. The owner seems like he's always there. That guy is one of the hardest working people in town. All of the staff are courteous and timely with service. If you want to grab take-out, they give you a box and you can fill 'er up with as much as you would like. You don't have many choices in Huntington, but fortunately your only one is pretty decent.

Went with my Grandma, real nice spread and ice cream! Not super busy, just right and delicious!
