This establishment offers a combination of Chinese cuisine and bar services. Customer reviews present a mixed view of their dining experience. Some patrons have expressed great satisfaction with the service, describing it as welcoming and fantastic. They also praise the quality of certain dishes, particularly the lollipop wings and egg rolls, highlighting the flavorful sauces and generous portions.
However, other customers have reported inconsistencies in food quality, especially with delivery orders. While the lollipop chicken was previously praised, a recent delivery experience fell short of expectations. Additionally, the orange chicken and crab rangoon received mixed reviews, and the overall perception is that the food is expensive for the quality received. The strawberry smoothie, on the other hand, was consistently rated positively.
The restaurant offers both dine-in and delivery options. If you choose to dine in, you can expect friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. For delivery, be aware that the food quality may vary. The price point is considered relatively high, so it's important to weigh the potential cost against the mixed reviews.
In summary, Great Sea Restaurant offers a range of Chinese dishes and bar services. While some dishes are highly praised, others have received mixed reviews. If you are in the Chicago area, and are considering this restaurant, it is best to be aware of the varied opinions on the food and cost.

Customer Reviews
So happy I found this place! Service is welcoming and fantastic. Prices are fair. The food was incredible. The lollipop wings were plentiful and the sauce they came in was incredible. The egg rolls ere also a home run. I can only assume the rest of the menu is the same quality.
I had it for delivery, I've tried their lollipop chicken before, and it was awesome. It fell short this time. I would not recommend their orange chicken. Their crab rangoon was ok. Their strawberry smoothie was really good. The food was expensive. It's definitely not worth the price.
Why did I get the scraps of the chicken in my hot and spicy chicken meal? It's the smallest slivers of chicken, and almost only breading. Some of this breaded chicken is less than a third of an inch thick. Of course it doesn't taste like chicken. To serve this is just flat out disrespectful. What happened to one of the best restaurants in Chicago? After they were bought out, they maintained quality for maybe a year. Now? You must not think very much of your customers to serve food like this. Just flat out disrespectful.
A nice place to visit! Very clean and large. We ordered the popular lollipop wings, kung pao, and shrimp fried rice. Food is amazing, especially the wings, they are crispy and juicy. Will visit again for other food!!
It’s been a while since I been to Great Seas. Have to say the taste really brings me back to life before stresses were in life. So, always nostalgic and good memories. So let me get into it! Food: Over the years and owner change I have to say the quality is good. Not like when I had it back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I have to say the taste and the portion sizing has changed. I would still get the wings or the sweet and sour pork or the black bean noodles since they are very tasty. Service: Have to say the last time I was at the restaurant the service was good. Atmosphere: Or ambiance like I call it, overall matched the experience. People and seeing how happy everyone was really made it feel like it was a great spot! Overall, I have to say that you won’t be disappointed. Definitely try the lollipop wings, sweet and sour pork, Mongolians beef, and black bean noodles.
