About Grand China Super Buffet

Grand China Super Buffet is a Chinese restaurant located at 4018 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75204, USA. They can be contacted at (214) 515-5505 or +1 214-515-5505. Customer reviews present highly divergent opinions on this establishment.

One regular customer reports driving 20 minutes or more every Sunday to eat here, stating that "The food is great and everyone working here always has a smiling face." This reviewer expresses disbelief at negative reviews, suggesting that satisfied customers often don't leave feedback, while unhappy ones are more likely to. They emphatically state, "But the food here is awesome" and specifically recommend the "jalapeno chicken" as "fire," giving it a "Highly recommend."

Conversely, another customer had a profoundly negative experience. They described the restaurant as "Very dirty and not at all a comfortable atmosphere." They chose it for its proximity to downtown due to "time restraints" but felt it was overpriced at "$65 for styrofoam plates and A (1) plastic fork." They found the food to be "VERY VERY American Chinese," with "Not one dish was authentic at all." Their description of the environment was alarming, noting "The floors are old carpet and very dirty and the restrooms are dirty and broken. The ceiling was leaking into MULTIPLE trash cans." This led to significant health concerns, with the reviewer stating, "I can’t even imagine the kitchen so we mostly ate the fried food because of health concerns" and concluding with a firm "Will NOT revisit."

Based on these reviews, Grand China Super Buffet in Dallas, TX, elicits strongly opposing views. One loyal customer praises the great food, particularly the jalapeno chicken, and the friendly staff. However, another customer found the restaurant to be extremely dirty with a very uncomfortable atmosphere, overpriced for the quality and service items provided, serving inauthentic "American Chinese" food, and having significant maintenance and cleanliness issues that raised health concerns. Local users should be aware of these starkly different experiences when considering this buffet.

The environment is described by one reviewer as having old dirty carpet floors, dirty and broken restrooms, and a leaking ceiling, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Another reviewer implies a positive environment with smiling staff. Services include a buffet. Key features, according to one positive review, are the great food and awesome jalapeno chicken. According to a negative review, features include very Americanized and inauthentic food, use of styrofoam plates and plastic forks, and significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. every Sunday I drive 20 minutes or more sometimes depending on traffic to eat here. The food is great and everyone working here always has a smiling face. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. I get how it is all of the happy customers forget to leave reviews or just flat out don't do it and sometimes a few upset ones will leave all the reviews. Just how it goes. But the food here is awesome. The jalapeno chicken is fire. Highly recommend

Very dirty and not at all a comfortable atmosphere. We chose this restaurant because it was close to downtown and we only stayed because of time restraints. $65 for styrofoam plates and A (1) plastic fork. The food is VERY VERY American Chinese. Not one dish was authentic at all. The floors are old carpet and very dirty and the restrooms are dirty and broken. The ceiling was leaking into MULTIPLE trash cans. I can’t even imagine the kitchen so we mostly ate the fried food because of health concerns. Will NOT revisit.

This place was far from the pictures. The food was very limited for 17.35 for one person. Most of the food tasted as if it was sitting all day. The place was empty and know I know why it was. The bathroom was a dump. The topper was that your plates were picnic plastic plates and plastic spoons lol. This place will never see me again. The server was acting as if she was watching your every move as if she felt you were going to leave with out paying, sad place. And the homeless were lurking like they were waiting to break into cars while they paced up and down the front sidewalk.
