About Grand 38 Restaurant
Grand 38 Restaurant, located at 26 Bridge St in Pelham, NH 03076, USA, has been serving the local community as a Chinese restaurant for a significant period. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Grand 38 offers both takeout and delivery services, aiming to provide convenient and flavorful Asian cuisine to its customers. However, recent customer reviews present a dichotomy of experiences, with long-term patrons expressing high satisfaction while more recent feedback raises concerns about food quality and order accuracy.
One long-standing customer review highlights a remarkable level of consistency over a substantial period. This patron states that they have been ordering from Grand 38 for 15 years and consistently found the food to be "always hot, fresh, and tasty." They further emphasize that they have "never had a bad meal" and praise the delivery service as "always fast and friendly." This strong positive feedback from a long-term customer speaks volumes about the potential quality and reliability of Grand 38 Restaurant over an extended period, suggesting a history of satisfying the local community.
In stark contrast, a more recent review paints a concerning picture of the current state of Grand 38 Restaurant. This customer reports repeated negative experiences despite "trying this place on different days," hoping for an improvement that did not materialize. Their feedback indicates significant issues with the food quality, describing it as tasting "as if it was old and reheated." Specific dishes mentioned include chicken fingers that tasted like they were "fried in bad oil" and ribs that were "dried out and not edible." These descriptions raise serious concerns about the freshness and preparation of the food being served.
Adding to the negative experience, this reviewer also highlighted a recurring problem with order accuracy. They stated that despite traveling "a long way to pick up my order" and tipping each time, they had to return "every single time" because food was missing from their complete order. This consistent issue with order fulfillment is a significant inconvenience for customers and reflects poorly on the restaurant's attention to detail during order preparation. The culmination of these negative experiences led this customer to "give up" on Grand 38 and begin searching for alternative options.
The significant divergence between these two reviews suggests a potential decline in quality or consistency at Grand 38 Restaurant. The positive experience of a long-term customer indicates that the restaurant was capable of providing excellent food and service in the past. However, the recent feedback highlighting old, reheated food, poorly prepared dishes, and repeated order inaccuracies raises serious questions about the current standards and operational efficiency of the establishment.
It is possible that there have been changes within the restaurant's management, kitchen staff, or operational procedures that have led to the decline in quality reported by the more recent customer. Without further information, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of this apparent discrepancy in customer experiences.
The provided information does not include any details about the restaurant's environment, such as its ambiance or cleanliness. Similarly, there is no mention of any specific features that might set Grand 38 apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area, nor is there any promotional information available. Therefore, any assessment must be based solely on the limited customer feedback provided.
In conclusion, Grand 38 Restaurant in Pelham, NH, presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While a long-term patron attests to 15 years of consistently hot, fresh, and tasty food with fast, friendly delivery, a more recent customer reports significant issues with food quality, including old and reheated items and poorly prepared dishes, as well as repeated inaccuracies in order fulfillment. This stark contrast suggests a potential decline in the restaurant's standards over time. Potential customers should be aware of these differing experiences when considering Grand 38. While the positive long-term feedback may be reassuring to some, the recent concerns about food quality and order accuracy are significant red flags. It may be prudent for potential customers to consider these recent experiences carefully and perhaps seek more up-to-date reviews to gain a clearer understanding of the current customer satisfaction levels at Grand 38 Restaurant. We have been ordering for 15 years. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. I have never had a bad meal. Delivery is always fast and friendly.
I keep trying this place on different days. Hoping it’s just an off night for the staff. My food tasted as if it was old and reheated. Chicken fingers tasted like it was fried in bad oil. Ribs were dried out and not edible. I come a long way to pick up my order. I tip every time and every single time, I’ve had to return because food has been left out of my complete order! I give up! Time to look around for something better!
Ordered on a Wednesday night for delivery. Pork strips, beef lomein and boneless ribs were very good. Teriyaki and chicken wings were ok but not a lot of flavor. Chicken fingers and crab Rangoon were crappy. Must of been a slow night so the fried food sat out. I'd order from there again but maybe in a busier night
Everything tastes like the grease in the pan, overly greasy anyways. Chicken fingers was more breading than any real chicken. Rice had no flavor and what little flavor it did have was not good. The black tea had a salt taste to it; super weird. Only good thing was the beef teriyaki — messy plate was our doing lol.
I have been eating at this restaurant for over 7 year regularly. I have never had a bad meal. All the food is fresh and cooked perfect. Definitely the best place around hands down. The bar drinks are also great with an awesome bartender on the weekends.
