Good Fortune St. Pete

For business or pleasure, this place is fun! The interior has so much to look at and enjoy- a canopy of flower blossoms at the bar, downtown neon signs on the way to the washroom, open kitchen by the sushi bar and intimate outdoor seating if the weather is pleasant. The sushi was awesome and they had a great selection of sake and beer. They have hot food as well.They also offer half-off bottles of sake one day during the week (currently on Thursdays). Lots of street and garage parking available and a great jumping off point if you have other activities you are going to in the area. TIP: the front entrance is down the stairs!

This place is really a vibe🙌🏻 Great food, great drinks, and great ambiance brings a crowd. Both selection and ambiance are top notch. Service was great. Location is prime and what they’ve done with the place really makes it a fun spot. I’d go as far as to say this is one of the better spots for a night out in St. Pete…starting or finishing, if you like Asian cuisine and modern urban fusion culture this is a spot to check out.

A pricier sushi place worth the cost for taste + ambiance. This reminded me of a spot I would find when I lived in New York. The decor and layout of the restaurant is very eye-catching. Great for a night with friends or a date. They had a DJ (Sat night) with 5-star danceable music. We loved it but it’s probably not the best spot if you want to have serious/quiet conversation with your group. We ordered sushi rolls recommended by our server who did not steer us wrong (wish I remembered the names of the rolls). The tuna taco apps were fresh but lacked a bit of flavor. The poke bowl was delicious (I just added a bit of eel sauce to make it top notch). Overall I would return just for the atmosphere on a Saturday night. It is a great pre-outing dinner spot!

Good Fortune in St. Pete is a must-visit for sushi lovers! The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the Japanese milk bread was absolutely to die for. The Brussels sprouts were also amazing—perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The only downside was the music, which was so loud it made it hard to socialize. But if you’re looking for fantastic Asian-inspired dishes, this spot is worth checking out!

So, I hit up Good Fortune the other night. Food was really good, no complaints there. Tasty stuff. And they had a DJ playing, which was cool, good atmosphere. Service was a bit of a mixed bag, though. Waited a while to get drinks and order food. Then different people kept bringing stuff out, which was kinda weird. And we waited so long for the check, we just skipped dessert. Basically, good food and vibe, but the service could have been better.
