Food: 4.5/5 (Food is seasoned well and delicious!) Service: 5/5 (Kind staff and service!) Atmosphere: N/A (No dine in, but clean restaurant!) Totally blown away by the experience at Good Fortune Restaurant in Benton Harbor, Michigan! This hole in the wall, charming little spot truly cooks with soul, love, and purpose. It may be a hidden gem when compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, but the mouthwatering specials they serve speak for themselves—this is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Michigan! Food: I tried the combination rice, egg drop soup, white rice, veggie egg rolls, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor! The service was top-notch. I chatted with the owner, who was genuinely passionate about the restaurant, and her joy was infectious. They made sure everything was just right, and I can honestly say they delivered on their promise. The staff were incredibly kind and patient throughout my visit. Though they don’t offer dine-in service, I enjoyed my meal at home, and the environment felt clean and welcoming. They had some nice decor and pictures that added a nice touch. Overall, my experience at Good Fortune Restaurant was lovely! The prices were fair, the portion sizes were satisfying, and the taste was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

Had lunch there this past Friday. It is the best Chinese food in the area. The chicken was hot and tender. The crab Rangoon was so good! Fast friendly service we ordered take out for more than 5 people and everything was correct. Everyone had only good things to say about their meals. Thank you

Ignore all the bad reviews. If you like good chinese food with protein that has real texture and tastes like REAL MEAT, then order food here. Im tired of going to other chinese restaurants and the meat is questionable and obviously low quality. Im a fan of the flavors here as well. Nothing will beat Chans or New Hong Kong House back in day, alas, they have either changed owners or closed shop. This is the next best thing.

I've never seen a Chinese restaurant in such a panic over getting a lot of orders at one time. I placed my order at 4:49 and was told 35 minutes . I should add the woman who took my order sounded annoyed I wanted to spend my money there. Didn't leave my hotel for 35 minutes because it wasn't far. Did not get my order until 6:40. Was told after waiting at the establishment for half an hour that it would be 5 or 6 minutes. The food , meh, not worth an hour and half wait. Crab Rangoon claim crabmeat , nope. I ordered and most paid for an 8 count, got a 4 count. They were way over fried. Extreme disappointment. Do not recommend.

The lady who took my order was difficult to talk to - had to repeat my address 5 or 6 times. The delivery was very slow, with no communication at all. Food was mostly sauce with no actual substance. It was rough. I ordered an entre and an appetizer and it ended up being $33. Kinda pricer than I expected.
