About Good Fortune

Good Fortune is a Chinese restaurant located at 3223 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21213, USA. As a local establishment in the Chinese restaurant category, Good Fortune offers Chinese cuisine to the Baltimore community. They can be contacted at (410) 558-1100 or +1 410-558-1100 for placing orders or inquiries regarding their services.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, experiences at Good Fortune appear to be negative. One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the attitude of the staff, stating they "do not care about their customers orders" and indicated they would not be ordering again. This suggests potential issues with customer service and order accuracy or attentiveness to customer needs.

Furthermore, this same customer detailed a specific issue with their order of shrimp fried rice. They described it as dry and containing a very small quantity of shrimp, specifically mentioning only ten "tiny baby shrimps" in a large order of rice. The review also noted the lack of vegetables and eggs in the fried rice, which are typically expected ingredients in this dish. This feedback points to concerns about the quality and composition of at least one of their menu items.

Another concise review echoed the disappointment with the shrimp fried rice, humorously stating "50 thousand grains of rice and ten shrimp." This customer also mentioned repeatedly advising their son to avoid ordering the shrimp fried rice from Good Fortune, highlighting a consistent negative experience with this particular dish. The price of $11 was also mentioned in the context of the unsatisfactory quantity of shrimp received for the amount paid.

Given these reviews, the available information paints a concerning picture regarding both the food quality and customer service at Good Fortune. The dryness of the fried rice and the minimal amount of shrimp suggest potential issues with food preparation or ingredient portions. The lack of expected vegetables and eggs in the fried rice further indicates a deviation from standard recipes or a lack of attention to detail in food preparation.

The negative comment about the staff's attitude raises questions about the overall dining or ordering experience. Poor customer service can significantly impact a customer's perception of a restaurant, regardless of the food quality. In this case, the combination of unsatisfactory food and reported negative attitude suggests a potentially unpleasant experience for customers.

As a Chinese restaurant, Good Fortune likely offers a range of popular Chinese-American dishes, which may include various types of fried rice, noodle dishes, stir-fried meats and vegetables, soups, and appetizers. However, without a broader set of reviews or a menu, it is difficult to ascertain the full scope of their offerings or the consistency of their quality across different items.

Information regarding the environment of the restaurant, such as its ambiance, cleanliness, or seating capacity, is not available based on the provided reviews. Similarly, details about services such as dine-in options (if any), delivery services, or catering are not mentioned. The focus of the existing feedback is solely on the quality of one specific dish (shrimp fried rice) and the perceived attitude of the staff.

No promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs, is mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in ordering from Good Fortune may want to inquire directly about any such promotions when placing their orders. However, considering the negative feedback received, potential customers may also want to exercise caution and consider these reviews before making a decision.

In conclusion, the limited available feedback for Good Fortune, a Chinese restaurant in Baltimore, MD, is overwhelmingly negative. Customers have reported issues with dry shrimp fried rice containing a minimal amount of shrimp and lacking other standard ingredients, as well as concerns about the attitude of the staff. Potential local users should take these reviews into careful consideration when deciding whether to order from or visit Good Fortune.

Nasty Attitudes and do not care about their customers orders. I wont be ordering again. I also received my shrimp fried rice it was dry and only had 10 tiny baby shrimps for a big order of rice. Little to none veggies in the rice. No eggs added either.

TL;DR their fried chicken isn’t chicken. It’s just fried dough. See pic. Hate trashing a small business but this is pretty ridiculous and I would have appreciated seeing this review if I could go back in time. So I had a need for General Tso’s chicken and these guys are highly rated on DoorDash. I ordered and was excited that it arrived quickly. Sauce is very tasty but it’s not actual chicken. Instead, they fry dough balls with a shred or two of chicken meat (some pieces had no chicken at all lol - again see pic). Pretty blatant. But as far as fried dough balls are concerned, these are pretty delicious if not a little pricey.

Shrimp Yat was well seasoned, shrimp was a little overcooked. Chicken wings very well seasoned and extra crispy. Shrimp fried rice had too many bean sprouts for my taste and shrimp had more flavor than the rice but I'd get it again.

Everything I ordered was full of flavor. 10/10. I love my wings fried hard. Halaf and half is official. Shrimp had a bit more flavor than the rice but overall good size and plentiful shrimp. My shrimp Yat was on point. I'm definitely stopping through again.
