Golden Wok

Known this place for long time, and I think it gotten better over the years. Recently ordered a take out, Ginger Beef and a box of 12 fried chicken wings from appetizer section. Everything tasted fresh, beef was amazing.

Ordered a simple Szechuan chicken with fried rice and wasn’t awful but I know they have made it better before. Rice didn’t taste the same and they cut the amount given. The service wasn’t bad or amazing just in the middle. Lady looks tired which is understood since it’s family owned business (has young child behind counter with her sometimes). All the chairs are removed, so there is no where to sit which I understand since there is a high school across the street that must cause some issues. Overall it was just mediocre and I expected more which I’m sure they are capable of. Would be beneficial if they could find another worker if possible. Furthermore I hope this restaurant improves for the next time I come back and becomes more passionate about their food.

Visited here May 2019. Good student discounts since plaza is located across from a school. Lots of parking, limited wheelchair. Can't recall if wheelchair entrance. Small place inside but clean and comfortable to sit down and eat. Take out seems popular. Large portions for sit down, could easily share one plate order. Food was tasty, hits the spot if you're very hungry. We had orange chicken which was well made and tasty, and mixed veggies, with fried rice. Good deal for bubble tea.

So so so so great! Such yummy food coming from such a humble store. The student deal has definitely saved me hundreds of dollars! The people working here are angels! Definitely some of the best smoothies and food in the plaza! Keep up the good work Golden Wok!

Some of the most unflavourful food. Didn’t realize it was in front of a school so it’s just cheaply made for the kids. Almost 12$ for a lunch special for some reason. Very overpriced wouldn’t recommend. All their chicken is the same and then they top it with whatever sauce.
