About Golden Scoop
Golden Scoop is a Chinese Restaurant located at 4006 Lincoln Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, USA. They can be contacted at (310) 301-3300 or +1 310-301-3300.
Based on customer reviews, Golden Scoop provides a quick and satisfying American Chinese fast food experience. The restaurant is praised for its reasonably priced combo meals and flavorful dishes, especially considering current inflation.
Popular menu items include the orange chicken, spicy fish tofu (noted for its authentic numbing pepper), black pepper chicken, and salt pepper shrimp (with crispy, edible shells). The five-piece wings are also highly recommended for their crispy exterior and juicy interior, with a mild, non-salty original flavor. The food is generally considered less greasy and less salty than other fast food Chinese chains.
Customers have highlighted the fast service, even during lunch rushes, and the friendly staff. The portions are generous, and the overall taste is described as excellent. Parking can be challenging at times, but there is ample parking within walking distance.
Golden Scoop is recommended for those seeking a quick, tasty, and reasonably priced American Chinese meal in Marina Del Rey. The food is considered superior to standard fast food chains in terms of flavor and quality. The restaurant offers both pickup and dine-in options.

Customer Reviews
This comment is for food only as I had someone do the pickup. The two-item combo is $11.99 and five-piece wing is $10.38, not a bad deal given the inflation era we have been living in. We ordered: Combo 1: Fried rice/Singaporean noodle half half, Orange chicken, Spicy fish tofu. They all have excellent tastes and texture. The fish and tofu has a little numbing pepper in it which tastes legit and I really like it. Combo 2: Chow Mein, mixed veggie, black pepper chicken, salt pepper shrimp. Again, the taste hit the spot. The shrimp is crispy enough to chew and eat the shell too. 5-piece wings: the wings are crispy outside and juicy inside. The original flavor makes it mild and not overall salty. Perfect for fried chicken. In my opinion, the food is much better than Panda Express as they are less greasy and way less saltier. If you crave for a quick bite of fast food Chinese, I would highly recommend Golden Scoop!
We're from out of town and happened to stop in right at the lunch rush. Despite that, we got our food extremely fast and experienced great service! The food was very delicious and reasonably priced. We forgot to take pictures of the food before we started eating because it looked so tasty! We'll definitely be coming back here again before we leave town! Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it just depends on what's available when you get here. Plenty of parking within walking distance though. Excellent food, fabulous service, and great price. Highly recommended for your top-notch American Chinese!
Really good and affordable Chinese food! Not too many veg options but the mixed veggies were really tasty, plus the fried rice and chow mein. Also, the fried chicken place is located in the same space so you can order from there too and the biscuits are amazing!
Restaurant was very clean and well kept, food was fresh tasted pretty good.. orange chicken with black pepper chicken was full of flavor.. really enjoyed it
I thoroughly enjoy this place. Not because it has great Ambiance or music, they have none, its because you can eat here cheaper than you can cook at home. It's quick, they give you plenty of food and each item is only $2. (Update: it's now $3 - $4). I It's Americans Chinese food served cafeteria style, think Panda, or you can order takeout or doordash delivery. You get a good variety of food from teriyaki chicken to broccoli beef and two kinds of noodles, etc. They also serve chinese-style crunchy fried chicken. Which by the way is delicious. Very different than American style fried chicken. I usually stick to the Chinese food and spend $4 which is plenty of food. Parking is difficult and once they get to know you, they'll let you use the bathroom. I've never tried their juices or fruit drinks but the pictures look pretty good. Definitely stop by and give them a try. Enjoy If you like my many reviews please hit like!
