All 6 of us had a horrible experience, food was awful, my shrimp fried rice was fried and cold shrimp mixed in not fried with the dry tasteless rice!! Server could not understand us. Shame on this restaurant. Never go back again. All 6 of us were very disappointed and we were there to celebrate 2 birthdays. We actually saw people get up and walk out because they were not getting service! 1 waitress is never enough. The food was expensive for what we got. I barely ate my meal.

We ordered carry out on Christmas Eve. The order was placed online a few days in advance. I recognize that it was probably their busiest day of the year. The order was late and it was a bit chaotic in the restaurant at pickup. That was all to be expected. Every Chinese restaurant in the area experiences the same thing on Christmas Eve. All of our food was done well. Everyone was happy with the orders. It was one of the best Christmas Eve Chinese Food eating experiences that we had post-Covid. We will definitely be back. The sizzling rice soup was great. The spicy mustard was especially spicy (in a good way). The vegetables in the dishes were fresh and not over cooked.

I think the food here is very good. The almond chicken is delicious. It’s crispy, the chicken isn’t weird, and the sauce is very flavorful. This is a really good old school Chinese food place and the almond chicken is the best in the area.

I was given the wrong order and when I called she said she called me but I didn’t answer. She told me to bring it back. I told her I lived 20 min away. What was I going to do? She told me “that’s your problem “. I informed her I would never use them again. It’s a shame bec my family and I have used GP for many holiday events. All she had to do was offer me a refund at later date. I am over 80 and cannot drive after dark. I could have returned during day time hours. Shame to loose a good customer. Make matters worse I paid in cash and left a tip. Celia N Update This afternoon, I returned the wrong order to GP. I was given the choice to have correct order or refund. I opted for refund. I appreciate getting a refund without a problem.

This Seafood Wor Ba was expensive and Completely FLAVORLESS…. I had ordered this previously with the exact same woman and she acted as if my English was so incredibly poor that she couldn’t understand me so she hung up on me several times because she doesn’t know the menu. I literally described it to her the way she described it to me and she then acted like I didn’t know what I had eaten before. This place has gone down hill. JUST CLOSE ALREADY. The woman that works here HATES HER LIFE. I asked for chop sticks and she stated “NOT A CHANCE”. She then stated “no matter what you want NOT A CHANCE”. The customer service she provides is best described as CANTANKEROUS. She has an incredibly disgusting attitude but acts COWARDLY as she continues to disrespect you while hiding behind that little barrier. She’s literally begging to be a viral moment. I recorded her atrocious behavior because people like her like to pretend that everyone else is the problem until they are exposed. Another woman gave a review describing this woman as racist. I believe it. I’ve witnessed her treating people differently. I paid $20-30 to throw food in the trash. Don’t waste your time eating here. There are far better places to eat in West Bloomfield. I wish ZERO stars was an option.
