Golden Lake

The food was TRASH. The General Tso's chicken was soggy and way too spicy to consume. The Crab Rangoon was super chewy - either way undercooked or stale. Regardless, do NOT order from here. Instead, A Mandarin is much better. I would have ordered from them, but they are closed on Monday's. Unfortunately, I chose Golden Lake instead. I contacted them for a refund was more or less inedible, they refused. Horrible customer service I will never be back to Golden Lake.

I ordered on 3/20 because I was working late and the food was disgusting. Not fresh, not good, really greasy. The shrimp egg roll had the tiniest shrimp, the crab Rangoons were cold, gross and just poorly done. The pork in the fried rice was all fat and the rice tasted stale. I threw everything away. Waste of $15.

This food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered chicken dumplings and nearly vomitted after biting into one -- they appeared to be completely raw! Not to mention the sauce was weirdly syruppy. I hoped the restaurant could redeem itself with a little chicken fried rice but to no avail. The rice was super greasy and lacked flavor. Needless to say, our entire order went into the trash and the restaurant refused to provide a refund.

Horrible experience, had to throw out my food. One of the employees had his shoes off with his bare feet on a table when I walked in. The whole restaurant was very dirty. All the employees (presumably family members) were yelling at each other throwout my pickup. And worst of all, the food was absolutely horrible; way too greasy, lacked any flavor, and was clearly low quality. With all the great Chinese restaurants in center city, STAY AWAY from this one.

If it was possible to give negative stars, I'd give negative infinity stars. I called at 2:15 and placed and order for pickup. I received a total and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I sent one of my employees to go pick it up and they said they never received the order. It was 2:45 at this point, I called back to try and figure out what was going on, they said they never received the order mind you they gave me a total. I tried to put in the order again and they said that they can't give me the lunch special price at this point because the special ends at 3, it was 2:50. I've never experienced such bad customer service, i called back to try and speak to a manager, AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I followed up a few more times and they were picking up the phone and hanging up on me. I tried calling from two different numbers and the second they recognized my voice they hung up right away. I have no idea how this place is still open.
