Golden House Chen

I got bored with my usual Chinese take-out places (average food, insane delivery fees, long wait...) so I tried this place last night. The prices were reasonable, delivery was quicker than they stated, and the food was delivered piping hot. I mean hot as if they cooked it in the car outside my house. And absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this place enough - try it!

Love this place but today (02/10/22) is the last day I will be eating from here. Several price raises over the past two years( I get supply chain issues and Covid) but from 2 weeks ago prices have been raised between 20 and 30%! That is outrageous!!! A family meal that I paid approx. $35 for is now $45. The menu that they have posted in the store and on the counter are nowhere near the actual prices. Great food but way overpriced now.

I've been buying from this restaurant for a while. And as of today I will not spend another dime here. Waited over an hour for a delivery, and when I called asking were it was they told me my order was misplaced and that I had to wait longer. I cancelled it and not even a sorry horrible customer service. Quite honestly the food isn't that great either. Few blocks away so very convenient but never again.

Placed an order through their delivery service Eatstreet. Estimateddelivery was 8:44p. At 9:03p I called Golden House to find out where my order was. I was told by the child that works there that it was on it's way. I live in the same town. At 9:20p I called again telling them I wanted a refund bc my order was obviously not on its way bc I live 2 mins away from the place. I was then told that they never received my order. When I questioned why I was lied to about it being on its way, I was then told that they did have my order but it never went out. I will never use this service again or Golden House as this was not the 1st time this has happened with the same place. Very disappointing but I guess that's what you get when you use your middle school children to run your business.

Food was ok, business is operated by what seems the owners knowledgeable young children. That put aside, all was good. Would eat here again.
