Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Surprising! My son was visiting and he seems to always crave GC as he now lives in another state. He says they are different. Better where he lives. I guess we’ll have to check it out. I wasn’t expecting much to begin with, so maybe that’s why I am surprised. Price was still a bargain considering the selection of rather tasty food (it was all pretty good); and, the fact that you can do just what I did, have a bite or two of just about everything before you get full. Then, you can go back for more . . . again. And don’t forget to grab a plate of desserts so you can taste those too. A rather sketchy customer crowd, but it is a buffet. Please don’t forget to leave the table servers a buck or two. They seemed to be putting in a pretty good effort. Dicks

Wanted to grab some FOOD because I was hungry, but undetermined on what to eat. So why not a buffet? I walked in and stood at the register for about 5 minutes before an employee finally noticed that 3 people were waiting. Fun. Then I sat down and the lady that filled my water and took the dirty plates was amazing and awesome! She's the only reason this place is getting a 3 star. The food was just not it. Bland and upsetting. Best thing I had was a Ceasars salad. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. Sad Very sad, actually the pot roast was pretty good. Ok Bye

The service was good. But the food was very bad. The grill man had no idea how to grill meat and didn't understand you. He couldn't even tell if the meat was done. The picture showed the meat as I asked for well done. And I saw them giving meat that was returned by one customers to other customers. This is the most horrible restaurant griller I have ever seen.

This was the most awful dining experience I’ve had. I work in food service and this was the most unclean, unprofessional, and downright disgusting buffet experience I’ve had. I don’t expect a buffet to be 5 star dining, however I do expect there to be a clean environment, a staff member(s) paying attention to the food displayed, as well as an environment with as little possibility for cross contamination as possible. Well this location had zero of those. No one was wearing gloves, the waitress that was sweeping one moment went straight to serving drinks without washing her hands or wearing gloves, I could tell this was a filthy environment. From the multiple items I grabbed such as the baked chicken, fried chicken, meatloaf, fries, taco, etc, I hadn’t finished one. I have just gotten home and had already begun to feel sick and unwell on my 10 minute drive home. Please do not come here to dine if you are someone who has any ounce of self-respect, and to the kitchen staff, how dare you serve such awful and undercooked food and allow it to burn and curdle in the pans? To the main server in the front, thank you for your professionalism and care for your customers, you were great. Overall this was an awful experience and I will never return to another Golden Corral location, and I definitely want my $50 back that I spent on food poisoning.
