Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Not sure if that was worth the price paid. Many salad bar items slimy or mixed in with other foods. The strawberry preserves were in front of the peanuts but there were peanuts in it. There were croutons in the hard boiled eggs holder. Many containers sitting out in eye view, very unprofessional looking. Employee cooking steak was not very happy to be at work; carved ham looked reheated and old. Green beans overcooked. Pot roast was good , mashed potatoes were good. Ice cream melted soon as it hit the bowl. It was like milk. Bread pudding not cooked well. Churros had no cinnamon on them. Overall quality just not good. I’m just naming items I actually tried. Some other items looked inedible. I went here because I wanted a variety of items and had my little one with me who’s a little picky , she was satisfied. It was just okay for me. Also didn’t like how the manager, or who I assume was a manager , was walking around in sunglasses, a coat, street clothes and a thermometer with a bucket of water. Assuming she was checking temps. Other manager was eager to take my payment and I don’t think he trusted that the cashier rung up my order correctly. Weird. Anyway, it’s just okay. Won’t go back anytime soon.

The restaurant is overall clean. Walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by the cashier and she was friendly. I tried the steak and it was good. The catfish was a 10/10. Also, if you’re looking for a great banana pudding spot, this is the place to go for. The staff was friendly and even the manager talked to my table for a bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

I'm pretty much in the middle for this one. I haven't been here in a long time and I was thinking it would have changed a bit but it was the exact same from a decade ago. They did take down those awful curtains and splashed some paint up, but nothing else was different. I really wish they would consider a whole new way of the set up and operations of company because I have a ton of ideas on how to make this place revamp itself. Overall the food was decent, the dessert area was lacking in goodness. Our waitress was very polite, prompt and check on us regularly.

We paid about $50 for 3 of us which isn’t bad pricing if we had eaten, but almost all of the food looked inedible, and what we did have to eat tasted off. Even the dessert bar looked awful, with the ice cream being the only saving grace and even it was icy and off putting. I would not recommend as the only good thing about this place is the service, and most of it is self serve.

I could not believe the conditions of this location. It’s been some time since my family and I patronized, but we will never be back again. Not only has the price point inflated, but the smell was unbearable. It smelled as if there was an issue with their septic system or as if their sewer had backed up. It was hard to even attempt to eat what was edible on my plate. The dishes were extremely dirty to the point that I had to wipe my plate off with sanitizer wipes that I bring in with me because their was crud and what looked like to be oil from spaghetti or some type of marinara dish on all of the plates that I selected. The silverware was no different, so we requested hot water to clean the forks with as we were told that there is a dollar charge for plastic ware per person which is unheard of. The dessert bar looked beyond disgusting. Every dish was either dried out, over cooked, under cooked or bland. The fried chicken was tolerable, but greasy and the best part of my meal was my chocolate milk. I had one plate and did not finish it and dared not go back for seconds simply because between the smell, the dirty dishes and the taste, my family and I were ready to leave. Completely dissatisfied.
