Golden Chopsticks

The food was good, spring rolls are a little skimpy, I wouldn't recommend any egg foo yung options, cooked differently than the norm, the people working there were friendly... we went on a Saturday and they usually get busy btwn 6 and 8..

The interior is delightful. This is definitely American Chinese fare - your not getting any blood soup here. wonton soup is fresh and light and served with sun racks. Egg roll is exceptionally fresh and delicious. Not a fan of the hot tea - tastes ok but smells like rubber. There is no General Tso/tao for lunch - dinner only. The almond chicken is fresh and light. The fried rice portion is small and mhe. Fast service but I think the waitress gave me a dirty look when I asked for a specific seat due to a health issue. Overall I’d give it a 4.5. Hard to find fresh good Chinese like this anymore.

I ordered a carryout today, I remember visiting this place as a kid with my grandmother and haven’t been here since I moved to the area. First, I asked for pepper chicken and I asked if it was fried. Every time I’ve ordered it elsewhere it’s been fried like sweet & sour etc. but I just wanted to make sure as there is no description on the carryout menu. I also asked for fried rice with my dinner order. The total came to $17 and some change. I get home after long cold day at work, only to find it’s not fried, they didn’t give me an egg roll and the fried rice was simply awful - no egg or veggies just dark brown. The pepper chicken was tasteless, I think they just sautéed it in soy sauce and called it a day. So disappointed!! I called and let her know they forgot my egg roll and she said the large dinner doesn’t come with it. What? Chinese dinner for $17 that doesn’t come with an egg roll? Also that’s not what their menu says either. The lady was nice and offered to give me an egg roll if I came back. The thought of fighting my way through the small parking lot in the cold for an egg roll just seemed not worth it. The portion was very small compared to other places I’ve tried in the area since I moved here, way overpriced and tasteless. Sorry but I won’t be back again. It really takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but my dinner was terrible and I have an aftertaste of salt - yuck!

I’ve always heard lots of great things about this restaurant! We decided to give it a try on this snowy Saturday night and it was delightful. General Tso Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Moo Shu, and Mongolian Chicken were all amazing! Place has the nicest people, great food, great service,nicely clean and decorated atmosphere! I will be back!! Thank you!!!

First time here and we both really enjoyed it. The combination dinners were both bery good. You get an egg roll and soup with it. The pop is from the can. Large dinning room with lots of available seating when we got there on a Sunday around 6pm. Parking lot was big as well. Overall a great experience will definitely be back when we are in the area looking for good Chinese food!
