Golden China Express

Golden China Express is pretty much your average Chinese restaurant. It’s a small restaurant with maybe 8-10 tables. A lot of menu options but everything seems pretty standard. Nothing too crazy or special. The food itself tasted solid. The portion sizes (at least with what I ordered) are a bit on the smaller side. Overall, not bad by any means. But I wouldn’t say you have to go out of your way for it or anything.

As far as express Chinese/Asian cuisine restaurants, this place is actually better than 4-stars based on flavorful dishes and large portions, as it is better than most. However, it would be a disservice to the truly 5-star restaurants to give this place anything higher.

I absolutely love this place! We usually order takeout—fried rice, chicken on a stick, lo mein, egg foo young, and more—and everything is always great! They have never disappointed me. The staff is amazing as well. Whenever I bring my sons to the restaurant, they always greet them warmly and ask how they’re doing in school. One time, my sons were wearing soccer jerseys, and we ended up having a great conversation about local youth soccer teams and which positions they should play. Some people may say the food is average, but it’s not just about the food. It’s more than that—I TRULY appreciate their kindness. :)

Best Chinese food in the area ! We have dined in take out delivery. Food is always hot and tasty. My main dish is sesame chicken with egg rolls , the staff is friendly and fast . My favorite Chinese restaurant…

My husband and I came here from Washington State, where the portions and quality of Chinese food leaves much to be desired. This place met and exceeded our expectations, between the price, the portions and the incredibly friendly service Golden China Express has just gained two new regulars!
