Golden China Chinese Restaurant

2-21-25 My sister was in the area and we wanted Chinese, so she stopped here because this restaurant had excellent reviews. We are sorry to say that we were very disappointed.  Most of what we ordered was not good and we had to put in the trash. The Wonton Soup noodles were overcooked and very mushy, but the broth was tasty. The chicken in the Sweet and Sour Chicken was mushy, not firm pieces of chicken. The Pepper Steak and Onion was good, but not a good portion of vegetables in it and too much sauce. The crispy noodles were stale and had a really bad taste..

Here’s a great business venture… Go purchase 20 microwaves(and 1 broken dishwasher) and open a restaurant, and call it Golden China. Serious question #1; where do you source your food? Serious question #2; why are your carpets squishy and sticky?

They used to give egg rolls for no cost. Not today. The house special low mein was not as good as normal alot less shrimp pork and beef. Very dissatisfied .

I have a long history of not liking Chinese food. Honestly, I don't understand the fuss. So when my wife suggested we order from this place, especially since they had free delivery for orders over $10, I figured I'd give it a chance. I'm glad I agreed with her. 😁 I ordered the General Tso's Combo Platter (see accompanying photo).The general must have enjoyed large meals because the portion I received was enough for dinner and then for lunch the next day. My only complaint was the delivery time. 🚛 It took nearly an hour to receive it. And when my wife went out to meet the delivery guy for the food-he had a cool mask with a big smile on it 😸-he took a while to leave while he asked her about the history of our old farm house. 🏠 I get it. People ask all the time about that. We just wanted to eat and have our food not get cold. Which leads me to the next positive. ➕ Despite the wait and conversation🗣️, the food was piping hot ♨️ as if it just came out of the oven. Overall, as a not-so-often eater of Chinese food, I recommend this place to fill your belly in the evening and the next afternoon. 🤓

Have gone 4 times sense last review so im changing it last 4 times perfect Old review usually give this restaurant a five-star rating because of their fast service and amazing staff. And excellent food ,However, I must address my experience from tonight, specifically with the Kung Pao chicken. it was bad and when I say bad, I mean you couldn’t need it. It was so horrible. I am a chef. It was hard tough dried out and salty. Maybe Unfortunately, it was quite salty, and as a chef, I noticed that the issue seemed to stem from the breading. The chicken was dry, and overall, the dish was really unappetizing to the point that I had to throw it out—it was simply inedible. I've never encountered this issue in the past, and I’ve ordered this dish twice before without any problems. While I will not be ordering the Kung Pao chicken again, I want to emphasize that every other menu item has consistently received five stars from me. I appreciate the quality of the restaurant overall and will definitely return in the future. Despite my experience this time, I still plan to enjoy other dishes and hope this feedback helps improve the Kung Pao chicken. If this had been my first experience here, I might not have returned, but I am grateful for the many great meals I’ve had before. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
