Golden Buddha

Came in for a late lunch. I had the sesame triple, so beef/chicken/shrimp done the sesame way and it comes with rice. Absolutely delicious 🤤 will absolutely be coming back!

Service was awful. When I was seated I told the server I would like a glass of water with lemon. I waited 6 minutes and had to flag her down and ask for my drink again. Meanwhile she was serving other customers who had been seated after me. She finally brought the water but forgot the lemon. She had zero personality and did not come to the table once to ask if my friend and I needed anything. No wonder that restaurant was fairly empty at lunch. Chef Lee would have been very disappointed m in his chose of staffing today. The bidder was more aware and observant than the server!!

I am extremely disappointed I went with my boyfriend because I used to come to this restaurant all the time with my mom the service was always great and the price was understandable and tip was never “mandatory” but now that i went again we both had lo mein for lunch and crab angels for the appetizer and two drinks the original should have been 31$ but with tax 40 something dollars and we were going to tip maybe 5$ but they decided to add their own 9$ tip to the receipt and their excuse was that they are low staff but it has always been just one girl working if I remember correctly so the price grand total was 60$ ! So ridiculous I am never coming back again . Don’t waste your time. It is said giving tip is not necessary and should not be but we still give some tip but don’t force a huge tip on people!

**BEWARE** they will leave a high gratuity NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU HAVE, me and my husband came with our 2 small children to eat dinner here ( keep in mind , our children are not even old Enough to eat what they have on the menu ) we both got fried rice, soup and 2 egg rolls. Water to drink total was $57.50.. they decided to leave their own tip for a party of 4 when it states on their menu they will do it with a party of 6+!! This is the second time this has happened to us and we will never ever return. This place is an absolute scam!!! At least make your service good if you are going to tip yourself.

I cannot believe how ridiculously over priced this place has become. I have been coming here religiously since 1997. Until recently you were greeted with chips and sauce not now, you used to have a choice between steamed or fried rice. Now fried rice is $2.50 extra per plate. Menu says gratuity is added with 6 or more guest tonight there was 5 of us and the tip was secretly added. I have several other choices for Oriental food, so after many years of patronage this unfortunately will be my last visit here.
