Goldberg's Bagels and Deli

I came here for lunch and was underwhelmed. I grew up in the NJ shore and lived for more than ten years in Manhattan so I know good bagels. The few bagels they had left were quite …ok. The service was Ok. They place survives because it’s across the street from a university and a hospital. They told me there were no baked good goods because the baker is on leave. I came in at noon and the inventory of the other bagels was next to zero- see the pictures. Not recommended at all

Here again!!!! outstanding service and probably the BEST#1 egg cheese and bacon ketchup bagel I have ever had!!!! Goldberg's Bagels is a gem in the area, offering a delightful selection of bagels reminiscent of those found in New York City. These bagels are not only generously sized but also reasonably priced, making for a satisfying and affordable breakfast or snack option. The standout feature of Goldberg's Bagels is their extensive assortment of bagel flavors, all freshly made every morning. Pair these with a variety of cream cheese flavors, and you have a winning combination. It's a bagel lover's paradise. The staff's greets you with warmth and friendliness. The quality of the food is evident, with it high quality from the bagels, spreads and coffee and the staff matches that quality with excellent customer service. Goldberg's Bagels has an outstanding range of bagels, Kasier rolls, spreads and sandwiches with high quality meats!!! the overall experience with staff is 5Stars. A great place to sit and have a delicious breakfast or lunch.

Everyone I know loves this place so now that I’ve given it 4 tries I figure I’ve done all I can. The bagels are solid here, especially for the area. That’s where it ends for me personally. I’ve gotten just bagels here, breakfast sandwiches here twice, and now an omelet. First time I got a breakfast sandwich here the order came out right and in about the time you’d expect. It was middle of the road but nothing to brag or complain about. Second time I waited a long time and then got the wrong order. Two people with my name had both ordered and my order went to the other guy. Then had to wait for it to be re-made. Still was very “okay”. Got the omelet recently. I ordered a western omelet with cheese. Cheese was melted overtop instead of inside. Toast stuck to the cheese making it a mess from the start. The ham inside was deli sliced ham and was not diced up at all, just big pieces of ham. There were no onions. A western omelet nearly anywhere in the world is ham, onion, pepper. It was also way overcooked. I actually prefer my eggs cooked hard but this was literally black in spots. Did not come with a side and was priced near the same as other bagel places locally that do offer a side. That’ll be my last attempt at coming here. I’m genuinely happy for everyone I know who loves this place and must get different food and service than I do, but I can’t catch a break here. Decent bagels good bread Breakfast sandwich was excellent Pork roll egg and cheese on a kaiser roll for the win

I come here all the time never had an issue but today just bothered me so much. This young lady came in and told them her order was wrong due to an allergy problem. The cashier who is always amazing told the lady that she needed to do a remake. She had a small attitude about it but nothing crazy. I understand because of how busy, but not even 5 minutes later the young lady comes in again and the order was wrong. The cashier man went and talked to her about it and she said it wasn’t wrong but again it was. Her attitude about this after remaking it again was absolutely disgusting. She made an announcement how this was her third time making it and was not doing it again. Honestly I’ve never seen this happen here and I felt so bad for this young lady standing right in front of that miserable lady and hearing her complain about her. If you can’t handle customers or a busy day I am sorry but this job is just not for you.
