About Go'Dragon Asian Grill

Go'Dragon Asian Grill is an Asian restaurant located at 4945 Nine Mile Rd in Richmond, Virginia. While categorized as an "Asian Grill," it appears to offer dishes commonly found in Chinese restaurants, thus fitting within the broader Chinese Restaurant category for users seeking such cuisine. Customers can place orders or make inquiries by calling (804) 236-5866 or using the mobile number +1 804-236-5866. Recent online customer reviews provide insights into the experiences of patrons, highlighting significant concerns regarding food quality, pricing, and service.

One customer reported a highly disappointing experience with their order. They ordered two servings of shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp and two egg rolls, with their total bill approaching $40. The reviewer found the shrimp to be under-seasoned and barely cooked. The fried rice was described as having little to no seasoning. While the egg rolls were noted to be overcooked, the filling was deemed good. The customer expressed regret over their order, wishing they had opted for four egg rolls instead of the fried rice. They mentioned visiting the restaurant based on a recommendation but stated they would never return. Both the reviewer and their husband reportedly did not eat most of the shrimp fried rice, which was unusual for them, leading to a feeling of wasted money. The reviewer hoped their negative experience was an isolated incident ("just a bad day for the restaurant").

Another customer also shared a negative experience, detailing an order of "#3 two meat & two sides." This reviewer reported receiving absolutely no vegetables with their order because a staff member allegedly wanted them to order a separate $5 side of vegetables. Additionally, they described an excessive amount of sauce poured over the rice, making it overwhelmingly sweet, similar to the meat they had ordered. This customer expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating "never again" and referencing a previous negative experience that had kept them away from the restaurant for a while. They found the food "disgusting" and the service "very poor." In comparison, they suggested that ordering from Panda Express would have provided more food, better service, and at a cheaper price for a similar order of three meats and two sides.

The provided reviews do not offer any information about the environment or ambiance of Go'Dragon Asian Grill. Both reviewers detailed experiences with take-out orders, so there is no feedback available about the interior of the restaurant or any potential dine-in facilities. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an objective description of the restaurant's atmosphere or décor based on the available information. The focus of the reviews is solely on the food quality, pricing, and service aspects related to take-out orders.

In terms of services, Go'Dragon Asian Grill appears to primarily offer take-out, as indicated by the customer reviews. One review mentioned a specific interaction with a staff member regarding the ordering of vegetables as a side, which was perceived negatively. The other review focused on the quality and accuracy of the food received. The overall impression of the service, based on these limited reviews, is negative, with one reviewer explicitly calling it "very poor."

The features of Go'Dragon Asian Grill, as perceived through these reviews, are largely negative. The food quality was criticized for being under-seasoned, barely cooked (shrimp), and excessively sauced (rice). The pricing was perceived as high for the quality received, with one reviewer feeling they had wasted their money. A notable negative feature mentioned by one customer was the lack of included vegetables with a meal that typically includes sides, and the suggestion to purchase a separate, additional side. The egg rolls were the only item to receive a somewhat positive, albeit mixed, review (overcooked but with good filling).

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers, discounts, or featured menu items at Go'Dragon Asian Grill. The recent reviews focus solely on negative aspects of food quality, pricing, and service. Therefore, no objective introduction to any ongoing specials or promotions can be provided based on the given information.

In conclusion, recent customer feedback for Go'Dragon Asian Grill in Richmond, VA, raises significant concerns regarding the quality of their food, particularly the seasoning and preparation of key ingredients like shrimp and fried rice. The pricing was also deemed high relative to the perceived quality. Furthermore, one customer reported poor service related to the ordering of side dishes. Potential local users considering Go'Dragon Asian Grill may want to take these recent negative experiences into account when making their dining decisions.

The food was terrible. I was so disappointed. I ordered 2 orders of shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp and 2 egg rolls so my total came close to $40. The shrimp was not seasoned and barely cooked. Little to no seasoning to the fried rice. The egg rolls were overcooked but the filling was good. I wish I had skipped the fried rice and ordered 4 egg rolls. I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation but I will never return. My husband and I did not eat most the shrimp fried rice( a first for us) Wasted my money. Hope my experience was " just a bad day for the restaurant"

Order dinner from here last night and I was so upset. This is not our first time eating here and had no problems before but last nights food was disgusting. The taste of the food was if it was spoiled and not fresh at all. Ended up having to throw it all away.

The absolute WORST Egg Foo Young I’ve ever tasted:( The bourbon chicken was the only thing that was redeemable! The “fried rice” is fake, they only give you 2 small Egg Foo Young “patties” for $16.99 and the sauce tastes like nothing but soy sauce! Disgusting! I’m so upset I wasted over $50 on this

Finally a place in town where you can get bourbon chicken (without having to go to a mall)! It's delicious, always hot, and the prices are reasonable (I get noodles and rice). To top it all off, you get great customer service. I come here atleast once a week, it is that good.
