Customer experiences at Ginza Ramen and Poke appear to be mixed. One reviewer described their visit as having some drawbacks, noting that the service was not particularly friendly and encountered a language barrier. This customer also mentioned a negative experience with the chicken teriyaki bowl, stating that it was made with poorly trimmed and cut thigh meat containing fat and connective tissue, which was unexpected as they were anticipating grilled breast meat. While the sauce was deemed acceptable, it was not particularly noteworthy.

In contrast, the same reviewer had a more positive experience with the salmon and tuna sushi burrito. They highlighted its large size and the generous portions of well-cut fish and a good balance of vegetables and rice. However, they felt it needed more sauce and found very large pieces of cilantro stem unpleasant to pick out. Despite this, they indicated a willingness to order the sushi burrito again, potentially requesting no cilantro.

Another customer had an overwhelmingly positive experience, describing the food as "absolutely delicious!" They specifically praised the pork belly as "crazy good" and mentioned that their four-year-old enjoyed the ramen, recommending others to try the restaurant.

Based on recent feedback, Ginza Ramen and Poke offers a diverse menu with some standout items like the pork belly and ramen, and a generously sized sushi burrito. However, there are also mentions of inconsistent food preparation, such as the chicken teriyaki, and service issues, including a lack of friendliness and potential language barriers. It appears that individual experiences may vary.

Our visit was a bit of a mixed bag. Service wasn't particularly friendly, and there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, which can be frustrating for all parties involved. My husband ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and didn't eat most of it. The chicken was thigh meat that wasn't trimmed or cut well at all. There were large pieces with fat and connective tissue still attached, which is unappetizing and was unexpected. Chicken teriyaki is usually grilled breast meat in our experience, so this was a definite let down. The actual sauce on it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I got the sushi burrito with salmon and tuna. It was HUGE, which was awesome, but I was only able to eat half, and sushi doesn't keep well, so half went into the trash, which made me sad. The fish was well cut and portioned well and there was a good balance of veggies, rice, and meat. It did need more sauce, and there were very, very large pieces of cilantro stem in it that I had to keep picking out, which wasn't pleasant and was a little annoying. I would get it again, but I might have to ask for no cilantro, which would be a shame because I love it. Overall, I would only come back if it was just me so I could get a sushirito.

Amazing Ramen! The noodles are perfect and so is the broth! It is a tiny hole in the wall place where you order at the register. So 3-stars for service is because the only interactions uou have is when you order and when you get your food. It’s nothing fancy, but amazing food! Would go back again! Pretty large portions too. Or at least I could not finish mine.

My family & I love this restaurant! My son & I usually order Grilled chicken Tonkostu ramen with an extra egg. My husband usually orders pork belly chasu tonkostu ramen. So yummy!! They also have a large variety of drinks. Each time we have visited, it’s quiet & relaxing. Prices are very reasonable! Must try!!

This place has really gone down hill recently. Mostly when It comes to value. It's one thing to up your prices, it's another to essentially slack on the quantity and quality of your product additionally in the process. Cucumber and pickled radish were not very crunchy and were a little slimmy and more soft than usual. Veggies over all had a lot of dark discoloration and were more bitter than usual. Tuna was gray on some of the pieces and red on only one. Eel was very slimy. They didn't really give me much on the protein either, idk why I got the smallest pieces of Eel. Pics attached of before eating while I was looking for my protein choices, as you can see that's all I got and they are charging 12 for that 😂 you'll get fresher items with a way better price from HEB, infact just go to HEB or somewhere else because youre not going to find value or freshness here! I actually use to love this place and have my partner pick me up something from here quite a bit. Or use to now! I'm honestly disappointed and will just not be going here any longer. Will update later if I get food poisoning. 🙏
