Described by one reviewer as a "nice, clean neighborhood spot for traditional Chinese," Ginger Wok offers a menu that includes dishes like shrimp in garlic sauce, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and fried rice. This customer found the shrimp to be very tasty and the egg roll excellent, while noting that the soup was not particularly good and the garlic sauce was unremarkable. The owner/waiter was mentioned as being very accommodating.
However, another customer had a less positive experience. They reported feeling unwelcome by the staff and were disappointed with their Kung Pao Chicken. According to this review, the dish lacked the expected spiciness, contained an excessive amount of carrots and celery with a limited amount of chicken, and was missing water chestnuts. The dish was also topped with raw peanuts. This customer stated it was the "worst kung pao I’ve ever had" and indicated they would not return.
Based on these reviews, Ginger Wok appears to be a local establishment offering traditional Chinese cuisine, with some customers appreciating aspects like the quality of certain dishes and the service, while others have raised concerns about food preparation and the welcomingness of the staff.

This is a nice, clean neighborhood spot for traditional Chinese. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce with hot and sour soup, egg roll and fried rice. Soup was not very good, garlic sauce unremarkable, shrimp very tasty,, and egg roll was excellent. Owner/waiter was very accommodating.
We came in today to give place a try, girl in the front seem to not want to even be there. Didn’t feel welcoming at all. I ordered kung pao chicken cause it’s usually my go to dish. On the menu it says that this dish is spicy but it wasn’t even slightly spicy. They did overkill with the carrots and celery, I separated the chicken from all the veggies just to get the visual of how ridiculous it was and took a picture..and it had no water chest nuts at all which was very disappointing . Not to mention they topped the dish with raw peanuts. Worst kung pao I’ve ever had, I would’ve been much happier going to Panda Express for the price of this place. Won’t bother coming back to this restaurant.
This was my first time having lunch at Ginger walk. It’s a nice little restaurant. They have good music playing in. The background service was very polite and kind. The food was really good and the prices oh my God they are cheap. It was less than $10 for a lunch plate And my Coke zero was only $1.99 when most places are charging almost 4 dollars. I suggest you eat here.
I totally understand the mixed reviews now. I ordered door dash and what I received varied drastically in quality. 1. Pork dumplings were AMAZING. literally some of the best dumplings I've had. They were super flavorful and the serving size was huge for the price. 2. The cheese puffs were just okay. On par with Panda Express but they tasted slightly more home made 3. Shrimp spring rolls were awful. It was just cabbage salad mix and tiny shrimp wrapped in rice paper. Would I go back.... Yes! Just for the dumplings though. I might try other menu items but my expectations will not be high
Edit: I visited recently. The egg drop soup did not taste good anymore. I had to throw away my lunch portion after 1 spoonful. I'm a regular here. I mainly go for 1 entree and it's this here the shrimp broccoli in white sauce. The vegetable and protein was a good ratio. I like to go for lunch hour because I get enough. You get choice of soup and rice with cheesepuff. The staff is very nice as well.
