Still the most decent Pad Se ew I've had, compared to other Thai restaurants. They lose a few stars for the dine in and customer service experience.

Disgusting!!!! Never again will I order from here. It was my break time. I ordered the combination lo mein. I ended up scooping out the chicken and beef because it had an unpleasant texture and taste. The shrimp wasn't too bad, but overall the meal was horrible and the noodles lacked flavor.

Gone are the days of the original owner where the food was second to none. I can't believe the best Chinese food I have ever had was in West Dundee IL the 80s, 90s, and early 00s. I moved to the west coast and still think of Gilbert's shrimp fried rice! I was visiting my home town for a funeral and decided to stop in, I was warned beforehand that Gilbert retired about 15 years ago. Food is mediocre at best. You long time residents know what I am taking about. My quest continues, I've been living in LA and still can't find that taste I am looking for. Thank you Mr. Gilbert, you are a legend that lives in my heart and taste buds! You set the standards up so high!

First time there, huge portions, great flavor. Will definitely be back again!
