About Garden Express

Welcome to Garden Express, a Chinese restaurant located at 2550 E Morris Blvd #32 in Morristown, Tennessee. As a local establishment offering Chinese cuisine, Garden Express aims to serve the community with a variety of dishes. However, recent online reviews present a contrasting set of experiences, indicating that customer satisfaction may vary significantly.

One customer shared a mixed but overall somewhat positive experience. They tried the Honey Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken and found both to be "really good." However, they noted that the Lo mein was "kind of bland." On a more positive note, they enjoyed the strawberry boba, describing it as "good as well." This reviewer concluded by expressing a desire to visit Garden Express again, suggesting that despite some shortcomings, there were aspects of their meal that they found satisfactory.

In stark contrast, another customer had a very negative experience, advising others not to "waste your money." They described the food as "gross" and claimed it "had been sitting," implying a lack of freshness. This reviewer also stated that they did not receive the correct item they ordered. Their criticism extended to the boba tea, which they found to be "expensive and powdered!" They further elaborated that an overly sweet syrup was added, making it undrinkable. This customer concluded that Garden Express was "Not worth the money," suggesting that better Asian food could be found even at a grocery store deli.

The two recent reviews provide a clear divergence in customer perception. One reviewer found specific chicken dishes and a boba tea to be enjoyable, while noting the blandness of the Lo mein. The other reviewer experienced significant issues with food quality, order accuracy, and the preparation of the boba tea, leading to a complete dissatisfaction with their meal and a strong recommendation against patronizing the restaurant.

Based on this limited information, it is challenging to definitively describe the environment of Garden Express. Neither review provides details about the ambiance, cleanliness, or overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The fact that one customer ordered a boba tea might suggest a casual setting that also caters to beverages typically associated with quick service or takeout establishments.

Similarly, details about the services offered at Garden Express are limited. The mention of ordering and receiving food implies standard service for a dine-in or takeout establishment. However, the negative review's comment about not receiving the correct item suggests potential issues with order accuracy. The contrasting experiences do not provide a consistent picture of the service quality.

Features of Garden Express that can be identified from the reviews include the availability of Honey Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Lo mein as part of their Chinese cuisine offerings. They also serve boba tea, with at least a strawberry flavor available. The positive reviewer suggests that the Honey and Teriyaki Chicken might be noteworthy dishes. However, the negative reviewer's experience highlights potential issues with the freshness and overall quality of the food, as well as the preparation of the boba tea using powder and excessive syrup.

No promotional information is available in the provided text. Local users interested in any specials, discounts, or a full menu for Garden Express would need to contact the restaurant directly at (423) 318-0190 or their mobile number +1 423-318-0190 to inquire.

For local users in Morristown considering Garden Express, it is crucial to acknowledge the starkly contrasting recent reviews. While one customer found some dishes and a beverage to be good, the other reported significant problems with food quality, order accuracy, and the boba tea. This inconsistency suggests that the dining experience at Garden Express may be unpredictable. Potential customers might want to weigh these differing opinions and perhaps try a small order to assess the current quality and service for themselves before committing to a larger meal.

In conclusion, Garden Express in Morristown presents a mixed profile based on recent customer feedback. While some items like the Honey and Teriyaki Chicken and strawberry boba have been positively received, there are also serious concerns raised about food freshness, order accuracy, and the quality of other items like the Lo mein and boba tea. Local users should consider these varying experiences when deciding whether to patronize this Chinese restaurant.

Don’t waste your money. Food was gross and had been sitting. She didn’t give me the correct item. The boba tea was expensive and powdered! She put some kind of super sweet syrup in there so I couldn’t even finish it. Not worth the money, you can get better Asian food at the Walmart deli!

Very quick, tasty and cheap price. The lady that served us was very nice and it looked like she gave more food to me on my plate than she served to my wife. The tables were clean. They charge twenty five cents for a fortune cookie but do not charge extra for the container for tap water.

A coworker and i both felt sick to our stomachs after eating this for late lunch. chicken has the texture of play dough and warm, not hot. Saw the lady working there switch out the pans under the food, but not the actual food. It was probably sitting there all day. Pretty sure i got food poisoning because i had explosive diarrhea less than 30 minutes after eating. tasty rice though.

Food was ehhh. Lo mien was really bland and what they are calling general chicken is NOT anything like it should be. My fault I should have looked and not assumed. And the woman at the counter was willing to switch it out for me which was nice. But yeah what I'm used to by any standard of Chinese food. Should have gotten one of the drinks they had pic of on the wall. They looked yummy.
