About Fusion Express

Fusion Express is a Chinese restaurant situated at 191 Mechanic St, Bellingham, MA 02019, USA. They can be contacted at (508) 657-1198 or +1 508-657-1198.

Operating as a local Chinese restaurant, Fusion Express primarily functions as a takeout establishment. Customer feedback presents a mixed view of their offerings. One reviewer highlighted the pork fried rice as a standout dish. However, this same reviewer noted that the egg rolls are mostly cabbage with minimal flavor, the beef teriyaki tends to be dry and overly sweet, and the lobster sauce, while flavorful, has a watery consistency with a disproportionate amount of sauce to pork. The General's chicken was described as having large pieces, and the Kung Pao dishes contain more vegetables than meat and include jalapeño peppers.

In contrast, another customer and their family expressed strong satisfaction, considering Fusion Express the "best Chinese restaurant in the area." They specifically recommended the chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, wonton soup, and the Wor Bar special. This suggests that while some dishes may have received criticism, others are highly regarded by patrons.

This is mostly a to-go restaurant. I really wanted to love this place as it is close to where I live. The one thing they do an absolute great job with is their pork fried rice. I base my reviews against other establishments, overall flavor and value. Their egg rolls are mostly cabbage. In New England the elite egg rolls are more celery and pork. The plain cabbage gives them very little flavor. You definitely need to add duck sauce, mustard and maybe a little soy. The beef teriyaki is on the dry side. The flavors are more of a sugar sweet unlike most places that have hints of ginger and soy. The lobster sauce has a nice flavor. However the sauce has a viscosity equal to water and the pork to sauce ratio is 3:1. Very little pork and a lot of sauce. Pork is either extremely fine, or big chunks. Not your traditional lobster sauce. I liked the Generals chicken, although the pieces were big. The Kung Pao dishes are made with jalapeño peppers and container more veggies than meat. I really love Chinese food but I think I am done waisting money at this establishment.

My family and I love this restaurant! It is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Fusion Express took a well deserved break for a month and we were craving it. We tried other Chinese places in the area, but they just don't compare to Fusion Express. The best items on the menu are the chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, wonton soup, and the Wor Bar special. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

Take out: We asked for chicken chop suey with chow mein. We got just chicken chop suey, no chow mein. They didn't charge us for it, so that's good at least. We asked if there were any tree nuts or peanuts and the response was "okay, no problem" which makes me think there is a chance they removed the idea of chow mein bc perhaps it is cooked in peanut oil, idk. The chop suey uses all the cheapest veggies. Perhaps 3/5th of it was just onions. No broccoli, no carrots, no color. The food looked bleak. The chicken was tender and the taste was pretty standard delicious Chinese food MSG. They will give you a 75% water level chop suey in a flat container paper bag, that will spill. I will always give an extra star for shopping local and doubt that my experience may be an outlier.

Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Not sure why we waited so long. Can’t say enough. The food was so fresh and amazing. My family had sesame chicken, shrimp with ginger/scallion, beef with broccoli , crab rangoons and the house fried rice. We all agreed the rice and Rangoon’s were the best we’ve had. So light and fresh. Sesame chicken is my new fav. Portions were good and prices reasonable for the pandemic era we are in. Owner/Manager was very nice. Addressed a food allergy and everything came out correct and nice and hot. We’ll be back!
