While the majority of the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, one reviewer noted that some dishes were "a bit too salty" for their personal taste. Customer Reviews
This place is amazing! We ate here on our first night in San Francisco and we were really tempted to go back, but we had to try some other places while we were in town. We ordered the Spider Pan Fried Bao, Green Onion Pancake, Crab Puff, Steamed Pork Bao, Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken Bao and the Ghirardelli Chocolate XLB. Everything was great. We liked the Steamed Pork Bao the best. I would highly recommend checking this place out.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Although some dishes were a bit too salty for my taste, they still had great flavor. I particularly enjoyed the fun presentation of the noodles. Friendly staff. Fairly priced. We visited on a holiday weekend, so the restaurant was quite crowded. We had to wait about half an hour for a table. This place appeared cleaner and more modern than many of the nearby restaurants, which is why we chose it, and we're glad it lived up to our expectations. The toilet was clean as well.
The hype around Dumpling Fusion is real! We tried the pork dumplings—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The cucumber salad was a refreshing palate cleanser, and the sizzling beef plate had a fun presentation with a good kick of pepper. But the real standout? The beef brisket noodle soup—tender beef and a super flavorful broth. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of their extensive menu!
Loved this spot! We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. My favorites were definitely the pan-fried pork soup bao — crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The crab meat lomein, which had such a fun floating noodle presentation. The Special Cold Bowl Noodle was also a standout with the craziest long noodle pull and refreshing flavors (plus, the bowl is literally made of ice — so cool!). We also enjoyed the pork soup dumplings, honey walnut prawns, and cucumber salad — all super tasty!
Saw a google review and had to try this place. Overall it was good, the presentation and service was great, and we enjoyed it. We were disappointed with the crab lo mein though- we wanted it to have more flavor and the noodles were pretty soggy. Everything else was quite good. We’ll give it another try, it’s worth a second visit.
