Furama Restaurant

The food here is delicious!! My family and I got dim sum on Christmas Eve, and we were so happy with it! We got turnip cake, various things wrapped in tofu wrappers, various things wrapped in rice noodles. All of it was fantastic and we'll definitely be back. A note though: if you're ordering from here for pickup on a holiday, make sure to make your order earlier than you might think. This place is so popular, my order was much later than anticipated. Which is not necessarily a bad thing; the food came out amazing, so, it's clear they value the quality of their food. Just something to keep in mind.

The food quantity was great but the taste no so much. But it tasted like authentic Chinese and lived their fried rice and chicken. Overall I would say their dumplings are the best. I ordered the shrimp and chicken buns.

I actually went to this place for a special dim sum drag show so my review is based on that experience. The space itself is nice and quite large, but it's definitely starting to show its age. The food was buffet style in quite good. I wouldn't say it's anything special but it's also not bad. For the price of a show in the food at the buffet and would say it was a good deal. They also had enough vegetarian options based on the audience. As for the entertainment, the show was really good and showed an eclectic group of performers. Some local in some not. The staff were super accommodating and everything went very smoothly. I'm not sure if I would go back for dinner alone but I would definitely check it out if there was another event.

As far as I’m aware, this is the BEST Chinese food in Chicago. I stop by every time I’m in Asia on Argyle, and I’ve never been disappointed. My favorite is the Chicken lo mein. The staff is always courteous and professional, the space is always spotless and immaculate, the environment is always friendly and open, and most importantly, the food is always terrific! If I could give more than five stars, I would. In addition, the food has a very authentic feel and taste, never covered in too much oil, and the flavors are never hidden with an excess of MSG as you find in most local Chinese restaurants. 10/5 stars!

There's really a sense of pride in the food and service here. Interior is well kept, service is good, and food was delicious. The sticky rice and chicken wrapped in lotus leaf was a highlight for me.
