About Fuji Hibachi & Chinese Cuisine

Fuji Hibachi & Chinese Cuisine is a restaurant located at 1007 MacDade Blvd, Collingdale, PA 19023, USA, offering both hibachi and Chinese cuisine. They can be contacted at (484) 494-8885 or +1 484-494-8885.

One customer who usually gets the hibachi and rates it "10 out of 10 each time" had a negative experience when ordering ramen due to feeling sick. They found the ramen to be a stir-fry instead of a soup base, which was unexpected. After calling the restaurant, the first staff member was also confused, stating it should be a soup. However, the manager informed the customer that it was a stir-fry and refused a refund because they "can’t Sell the product anymore," offering no apology or free items. The customer felt they "just have to throw away my money" and stated, "I will never come back here again."

Another reviewer stated, "I do not recommend. Everything taste sub par, and leaves a sick feeling. Fried rice was disappointing. Egg foo young, and general taos, were practically inedible. Only redeeming qualities was the forgettable fried chicken wings. That were over shadowed by the stomach ache left by the rest of the meal." This customer expressed strong dissatisfaction with the overall taste and quality of the food, even questioning if it was "real food" and concluding they "wouldn't gamble trying this place a second time."

Based on these reviews, Fuji Hibachi & Chinese Cuisine in Collingdale, PA, has received significant negative feedback regarding both the quality of some of its Chinese dishes and its customer service. One customer had a very poor experience with the ramen and the manager's handling of the issue, leading to a financial loss and a vow not to return. Another reviewer found the majority of the Chinese dishes to be subpar and almost inedible, resulting in a sick feeling and a strong recommendation against the restaurant. While the hibachi is reportedly good, the experiences with the Chinese cuisine and customer service raise serious concerns for local users.

Information about the environment is not provided in these reviews, which focus on the food and customer service. Services include both hibachi and Chinese cuisine, available for dine-in (implied by the first review) and likely takeout/delivery. A reported feature is good hibachi (though this is contrasted with poor Chinese dishes). Significant drawbacks include ramen being prepared as a stir-fry instead of a soup, unwillingness to provide refunds for incorrect items, subpar tasting Chinese food, inedible dishes like egg foo young and general tso's, and potential for causing a sick feeling and stomach ache. I came into Fuji with high hopes, I usually get the hibachi and it’s a 10 out of 10 each time but today I’m feeling a little sick and I wanted some Ramen so I ordered it when I came home. It’s a stirfry not a soup base I thought it was a mistake so I called them. The first lady I talked to was confused too. She said It’s supposed to be a soup so she Transfer me to the manager she told me straight up. It’s a stirfry you’re not getting your money back because they can’t Sell the product anymore she didn’t apologize she didn’t offer anything free. I just have to throw away my money. I spent $30 For nothing, I will never come back here again

I do not recommend. Everything taste sub par, and leaves a sick feeling. Fried rice was disappointing. Egg foo young, and general taos, were practically inedible. Only redeeming qualities was the forgettable fried chicken wings. That were over shadowed by the stomach ache left by the rest of the meal. I don't know what's going on in that kitchen, but after this experience,It wouldn't take much to convince me it's not real food. I wouldn't gamble trying this place a second time

The food was pretty good. My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken wings with beef fried rice, curry chicken with white rice, and the teriyaki chicken on a stick. The food was all really good, my only issue was the vegetables in the curry chicken didn’t seem like they were seasoned/marinated enough in the curry seasoning/sauce so when eating them they tasted really bitter even if you dipped it in the curry sauce in the meal itself but other than that the food was good. I would definitely recommend.

Do not order from this place!!! my daughter ordered the sweet-and-sour shrimp with pork fried rice… the sweet and sour sauce had a roach in it!!! and she tried to take it back and they would not replace the meal, (which who would want it replaced)or give money back and the pork fried rice with the shrimp in it doesn’t even look like shrimp. I would advise no one to eat here. Place needs to be shut down

This is my go-to restaurant for Chinese and Japanese cuisine. My fam and I order from here at least a couple times a month. The usual banging dishes we order are chicken or shrimp lo mein, General Tso's chicken and chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce; These dishes are always delicious! The shrimp egg rolls and pizza rolls are usually top notch and the steamed dumplings are a real treat. We've tried nearly everything on the menu and it's all good. I have issues with my blood pressure so I have to keep salt levels to a minimum. That's why I dig Fuji, they don't load copious amount of MSGs and salt to their meals unlike most Chinese places here in Delco. Also worth mentioning that their staff are very nice. Be sure to tip the delivery dude, he's cool!
