About Fuji Grill II

Fuji Grill II is located at 4151 McKinley Pkwy in Buffalo, New York. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on some platforms, customer reviews indicate it is a Japanese restaurant specializing in hibachi-style cooking.

Environment: One customer described the atmosphere inside as "great." The hibachi section is highlighted as making the visit "so much more memorable," suggesting an interactive and engaging dining experience.

Services: Customer feedback regarding service is strongly divided. One reviewer praised the chef as "the most entertaining" and noted they seemed experienced. However, this same review reported that the hostess staff and a "mgr" were "EXTREMELY rude," detailing an incident of being made to wait significantly past their reservation time and being treated disrespectfully when inquiring about it. In stark contrast, another reviewer did not mention any issues with service, focusing instead on the positive aspects of the food and atmosphere.

Features: Fuji Grill II's main feature appears to be its hibachi cooking, where chefs prepare food at the table with entertaining flair. Popular dishes mentioned include the hibachi steak with fried rice and mushroom soup, which one customer described as their favorite meal. The menu also includes other offerings, as indicated by the mention of a birthday party, though specifics are not provided.

Promotional Information: There is no specific promotional information available in the provided customer reviews. However, the hibachi experience itself could be considered a unique feature that attracts customers.

In summary, Fuji Grill II in Buffalo, NY, offers a memorable dining experience centered around entertaining hibachi chefs and good food, particularly the hibachi steak with fried rice and mushroom soup. The atmosphere inside is described as great. However, potential customers should be aware of a significant negative review detailing extremely rude behavior from the hostess staff and management, which overshadowed the positive aspects for that particular diner. This suggests that while the food and hibachi experience can be enjoyable, the front-of-house service may be inconsistent.

Food was good from the most entertaining Chef there. Looks like he'd been doing it for a while. Hostess staff and "mgr" were EXTREMELY rude. Clapping in our face when we tried to ask why we hadn't been seated at 7:20 when we had reservations at 6:30. They were not accommodating at all nor friendly. Would have left but it was for a birthday party. Although the chef was fantastic, I will never return since the hosting staff doesn't know how to treat their customers with respect.

This is my favorite restaurant to go to. My favorite meal would be the hibachi steak with fried rice and mushroom soup. The atmosphere is great inside. The hibachi section makes your visit so much more memorable. I would highly recommend. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Birthday dinner for 8 people. Manager took tables order. Apparently never relayed one of the dinner orders so food never came. Place was very busy and waiter was spread thin. Drink orders never came, the ones that did came very late. Cooks were great but being a full dinner order short was not. They offered to put the order in as everything was wrapping up but bit way too late for that. Very disappointing experience. Would recommend going to Dao nearby for a much experience with just as good food. Pricing is also a bit better.

First time eating in the restaurant and it was very nice, the atmosphere was welcoming and the booth felt more private than other restaurants. I've ordered take out before and the food is just as good every time I've ordered from here. I will be coming back for dine in again.

Wonderful little spot. I was from out of town, here on work. Was in the mood for Sushi and so glad I chose Fuji Grill. The food was amazing and fresh, the rolls are displayed beautifully. Highly recommend. Didn't try the Hibachi but the private booths are a really nice touch
