Fuji Buffet Restaurant

First off, I don't understand how anyone could leave a bad review on Fuji Buffet. The variety of food and atmosphere here are far superior to any other Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh and hot when we visit, and the variety, especially the sushi, is always great! They also have crab legs on the dinner buffet and crawfish, which seem to be a hit! My absolute favorites are the crab ragoon’s (which I believe are homemade and FANTASTIC) ,rice noodles (lunch time only), pepper chicken, and sushi. The staff is also incredible! My daughter (who is 2) loves the lady working the register and the lady server as well. They always acknowledge her and give her hugs and knuckles when we come to eat. Sometimes my daughter will grab her hand and walk with the server lady to the table. The price is a little higher than, say, Semmes Chinese Buffet, but with the freshness, taste, and variety, it's worth it!

Pay First! We were looking for a change of pace and googled buffet places in Saraland. We decided to take a chance and eat here. This is our third time coming here and we love it. The place is small but roomy, the people are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The food is great and plentiful. They open from 10am-9pm and for 2 people during Lunch time the price is $29.90($14.95 per person). I haven't been for Dinner yet, so I don't know the price. If you like Crawfish and Boil Shrimp, you can eat your fill during Lunch time.

Went with my wife and son, the food was okay didn’t seem that fresh and not a lot of options to choose from. Service was decent. The one thing was while we sat to eat we was close to the front desk area and a woman was loudly talking to the server for about 20 minutes just to get free food, they finally gave in and let her get a plate which I was fine with but it was distracting while sitting there trying to eat as a family and talk. Also, it’s not that big. If you want something simple and don’t eat with a big bunch then this is your place.

In a world where you can barely get out of McDonalds for under $20, Fiji is a breath of fresh air. You would drive by it if you were not looking for it. So keep your eyes open! I was there for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday. The place was not packed but definitely full. The buffet was not as big as many I have seen, but the food was plentiful and fresh. On the dinner buffet you can expect crab legs, fantastic shrimp cooked several different ways, and crawdads! They even had fried catfish. Everything else was what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. Several varieties of sushi, noodles, rice etc. With the drink it was $18 for dinner. I think lunch is $11. You can’t eat fresh anywhere else for that price. Let’s be real here…. We are not giving out Michelin stars here. This is not a fancy place. But when you can eat good, fresh food for under $20, in my book you get 4 stars. I will be back the next time I am through town.

Everything I tried here was great. Waitress was friendly. Good selection and buffet prices are fair. Even get it to go some times. No complaints
