About Fu Yuan Kitchen

Fu Yuan Kitchen, a Chinese restaurant located at 2021 86th St in Brooklyn, has garnered positive reviews for its delicious and amazing food, making it a highly recommended spot. Customers have noted that while it can get busy, particularly in the afternoon, the wait times are generally short, even during relatively busy morning hours.

One of the standout features of Fu Yuan Kitchen is its affordability. A plate of rice noodles with curry fish balls is priced at less than $8, which is considered very reasonable compared to other similar establishments that may offer the same for a higher price and with less attentive service. The restaurant also provides a great atmosphere and the added convenience of free wifi for its patrons.

However, not all dishes have received universal praise. The pork and egg rice rolls were described as average with very thick rice rolls, which may not suit everyone's preference. Additionally, the beef fried rice, priced at $8, was noted to contain minced beef rather than larger pieces of beef. While the taste was considered okay, it was suggested that the dish should be more accurately named "minced beef fried rice."

Overall, Fu Yuan Kitchen offers a range of affordable and tasty options, with rice noodles and curry fish balls being particularly popular. The pleasant atmosphere and free wifi add to the dining experience. If you're looking for budget-friendly Chinese food in Brooklyn, Fu Yuan Kitchen is worth a visit. Delicious, amazing, highly recommend! We went early in the morning but it seems like it would be more crowded during the afternoon. We went in the morning (it was still relatively busy) but our wait was less than 10 minutes. However, the food and atmosphere is great! (There’s also free wifi). It’s also so affordable at less than 8$ for a plate of rice noodles & curry fish balls. What more can you ask for ?!? Other similar spots are selling it for a lot more and less service

Pork and egg rice rolls are just average! The rice rolls is very thick! Not my type of food! anyway! Beef fried rice 8💲 but no beef! It's minced beef! Very minced beef! The taste is ok! But please change the name to minced beef fried rice instead of beef!

Love coming here whenever I'm in Brooklyn. The menu can be confusing with 3 different types of noodle rolls. The stone mill one is the smoothest one according to the people working there. Steam and fabric steam I don't remember but one of them is thick. I always order the cilantro with eggs and watercress. I tried the curry balls with noodle rolls and it was not bad. Get all the sauce except spicy.

I was around the area, and decided to grab a quick bite. Ordered the "Seafood" Congee that had 2 small shrimp and 1 piece of fish and the Crispy Shrimp Rice Roll. You would place your order at the counter and wait for you number to be called to pick up your order. Food was ok, but there are much better options around the area. Wouldn't be back.

Pork rice roll $3 has NO pork at all. It is actually plain rice roll. Very disappointed. Bad customer service. I called for a regular pork rice roll but they added an egg. They did not say sorry but made me felt bad and said it was my mistake. I paid for $3 for bad customer service and plain roll.
