Based on customer reviews, Fu Lai Kitchen has some long-standing patrons who appreciate specific dishes. The vegetable fried rice is particularly well-received, with one reviewer highlighting the generous amount of vegetables included and considering it a worthwhile order. The crab sticks with tartar sauce are also mentioned as a good option.

However, another customer had a negative experience, reporting that the spare rib tips, pork fried rice, and orange chicken had an unpleasant, old flavor and did not taste right. This customer stated they would not order from Fu Lai Kitchen again, feeling that their $22 was wasted.

Overall, customer experiences at Fu Lai Kitchen appear to be mixed. While some dishes like the vegetable fried rice and crab sticks are enjoyed, there are reports of poor quality in other menu items. I’ve been coming here for years. I love their vegetable fried rice, it’s so good. The vegetable rices comes with lots of veggies. Really worth it! Crab sticks with tartar sauce is good too.

Chicken was rubbery, grey, and tasted like scallops. Pork in the rice was grey. Do not order from this establishment unless you want to get sick. Totally gross. NOTE: This is NOT the Fu Lai on Ft. Hamilton.
