The orange chicken was crispy on the outside, but tough on the inside. Not soft, not juicy. The pork egg rolls were very tasty. The tea was not hot.

Friendship Chinese Restaurant in Chicago deserves every bit of praise it receives. The staff here is truly amazing – their hospitality and warmth create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you're part of a big, friendly family. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, and their knowledge of the menu helped us navigate through the extensive options. Now, let's talk about the food. It's nothing short of extraordinary. Everything we ordered was a delight for the taste buds. The flavors were rich, and the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail. The variety on the menu ensures there's something for every palate. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites or adventurous enough to try something new, Friendship Chinese Restaurant has it all. This dining experience left us thoroughly satisfied and craving for more. A solid five-star rating for both the exceptional staff and the mouthwatering food.

I had an incredible experience at this Chinese restaurant. The restaurant's location and exterior are distinct, and the staff greeted me with exceptional energy. This is one of my favorite Chinese food spots I have ever visited. Even though I'm not typically a fan of orange chicken, the way they prepare it changed my mind. I highly recommend trying their pot stickers, as they are incredibly delicious and you may even want to order more. The portions are generous and served family-style. The service was outstanding, and the decor was lovely. The prices were also very reasonable.

This is arguably one of the finest chinese meals I have ever had!! Quality of ingredients and the plating is amazing. Their fried calamari is lightly dredged but had an incredible crunch and snap texture highlighted with heat from the chilis and cooled by the pineapple. The birds nest pineapple shrimp presentation was expertly executed. And the perfectly cooked shrimp and citrus of the pineapple was a complimentary to the overall flavor profile. Lastly, their singapore rice noodles added curry heat with the shrimp and chicken and is reminiscent of some of the best curry noodles out of Thailand. Theres a good fusion of foods here on the menu and look forward to trying more of their plates. Service was paced properly and staff was friendly. A definte MUST TRY!

I can certainly understand how friendship restaurant got its name: from the most beautifully created dishes down to the beautiful music box check that arrives with your bill... Someone has put a lot of thought into your dining experience at one of Chicago's best rated Chinese restaurants. I personally recommend the honey shrimp; you will not be disappointed!
