Friendly's

If you enjoy nostalgic restaurants then this place is for you. Established in 1935 and unfortunately there are not too many around. This place is not just an ice cream joint they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner. The staff is very good at what they do, including the cook. The girls running the front of the house are Amazing. Very good food at great prices.

Very fair kinda place. On beachside. Fish was good a little pricey but lots of it. 🍨 our free brownie fudge sundae made Jim's heart pitter patter! Overall nice little nostalgic place. Shoestring fries were delish. I only counted off a star because it seemed like the staff was a little more concerned with something other than the restaurant. It's nice to see people being friendly but the restaurant definitely could use some upkeep. Everyone was friendly. And for $50 just expected a little more. But it looks like people live in the restaurant booths had personal stuff in them and cell phone chargers. Not sure it just seemed like someone's house rather than a restaurant. And I didn't know we paid up front otherwise we would have left a lot sooner. I guess it's just a more relaxed atmosphere on the beach or something. Didn't feel as professional as it should have .. and the entire seemed a little dinghy like something on the roadside in the middle of nowhere .. food was alright and we left with pleasantries!

Great restaurant, good options, affordable prices and good breakfast, the waitress very nice and doing her best, she was today alone and did an amazing service. Excellent option when you are staying close by the hotels.

It's a family friendly place . The food is amazing and Brielle are waitress was friendly and has a great sense of humor. I had my wife looking for a pine float on the menu and she couldn't find it so I got up and got a toothpick. Then she got to enjoy her first pine float . We spoke with Mrs. Jane who works here and has been at many of the friendly's locations. She is one of the nicest lady's we spoke to all day . And one other thing this place is 1000 time's better than steak & shake . They don't have waitresses and you have to order your food from some stupid kiosk machines. So in all it's a two thumbs up for friendly's . From my Wife and I . Happy wife happy life . Anyway they have amazing deserts to.

I had lunch at Friendly’s after exploring the downtown art district. The food was actually quite tasty. I ordered their Philly cheesesteak melt with a side of French fries. The toast on my melt was buttery, which made the sandwich all the more delicious!
