About Fried Rice Kitchen

Welcome to Fried Rice Kitchen, a Chinese restaurant located at 2623 W Atlantic Blvd in Pompano Beach, Florida. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Fried Rice Kitchen serves the local community with a menu featuring a variety of Chinese cuisine. Customer reviews for Fried Rice Kitchen present a somewhat polarized view, with notable discrepancies in the experiences reported. One customer expressed extreme dissatisfaction with their order of honey chicken nuggets and shrimp fried rice, describing the chicken nuggets as "nasty and recooked" and the overall food as "not fresh at all" and "disgusting." This reviewer stated they would never eat from Fried Rice Kitchen again, considering it a waste of money and time.

Conversely, another customer had a much more positive experience with the food itself, describing it as "fantastic and well worth it." This reviewer specifically praised the shrimp chop suey, sauteed tofu with vegetables (noting a "tasty brown sauce"), and the special wonton soup as "delicious." This positive feedback suggests that some of the dishes offered at Fried Rice Kitchen are well-received and of good quality.

However, this second reviewer did raise a significant concern regarding the service speed, mentioning that it took "over an hour" for the food to be ready, not just for their order but for other customers as well. This delay occurred on a Sunday at the beginning of the day, which might indicate potential issues with kitchen efficiency or staffing during peak times. This is an important factor for potential customers to consider, especially if they are looking for a quick meal.

Furthermore, the second reviewer also commented on the restaurant's environment, noting that "the look of the store when you walk in is quite unappealing with random marker and pen writing and drawings all over the wall." This suggests that the interior ambiance of Fried Rice Kitchen may be lacking in terms of aesthetic appeal and cleanliness, which could be a deterrent for customers who prefer a more pleasant dining or waiting area.

Considering these reviews, Fried Rice Kitchen appears to be a Chinese restaurant that may offer dishes of varying quality, with some being highly praised while others are strongly criticized. The service speed seems to be a potential issue, with at least one report of significant delays. Additionally, the restaurant's interior environment has been described as unappealing.

As a Chinese restaurant, Fried Rice Kitchen likely offers a standard menu of popular American-Chinese dishes, with items like fried rice (as indicated by the name and one of the ordered dishes), honey chicken, chop suey, sauteed tofu with vegetables, and wonton soup being mentioned in the reviews. The feature of potentially tasty and well-prepared food, as highlighted by one reviewer for specific dishes, could be a draw for some customers. However, the inconsistency in food quality reported by another is a significant concern.

The services offered likely include takeout, as implied by the first reviewer ordering food "to my job." It is not explicitly mentioned whether they offer dine-in or delivery services. The long wait time reported by one customer might suggest that their order volume can sometimes exceed their capacity, leading to delays.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or specials at Fried Rice Kitchen based on the provided reviews. Local users interested in trying Fried Rice Kitchen might want to inquire directly about any current deals or popular menu items when placing their order, perhaps also asking about the estimated preparation time.

In conclusion, Fried Rice Kitchen in Pompano Beach is a Chinese restaurant with mixed customer feedback. While some customers have found certain dishes to be fantastic and well worth the price, others have reported issues with food quality and freshness. A significant concern raised is the potentially long wait times for orders. Additionally, the restaurant's interior has been described as unappealing. Local users considering Fried Rice Kitchen should weigh these factors based on their priorities for food quality, service speed, and dining environment. For the most up-to-date information on their menu, services (including dine-in or delivery options), and any current promotions, it is recommended to contact them directly at (954) 973-6477 or +1 954-973-6477.

Food was fantastic and well worth it. I would have given them a 5, except that it took over an hour for the food (other customers' food too.) on a Sunday at the beginning of the day and the look of the store when you walk in is quite unappealing with random marker and pen writing and drawings all over the wall. I ordered shrimp chop suey, sauteed tofu with vegetables (had a tasty brown sauce) and the special Wonton soup was delicious.

So what had happened was---our usual Chinese spot, China Star, was closed yesterday so, we crossed over to the other side to Fried Rice Kitchen. We placed our order (fried wings/French fries for the hubby and Boneless Rib Combo for me) and walked outside to wait. It looked a little dingy so I decided to check the reviews. They are mostly terrible so, I thought "I hope the food is better than the reviews, we're in too deep." I don't know what these folks are going on about in these reviews, the food was freaking delicious. My plate tasted like NY Chinese which I haven't tasted for the last two years that I've been out here. Hubby was happy with his food too. The rice in my combo was thebomb.com, packed full of savory flavor, I drooled in my mouth. The rib tips are not that weird texture that's hard to chew, it's actual pieces shaved from ribs. We will definitely be back, sorry China Star. A little advice, don't go by the reviews, give this little joint a try and tell me I'm lying. I joked to my husband that I think people leaving bad reviews just don't want to share the food. :-)

Maaaaaaan. I will NEVER EVER eat from here again. I ordered orange chicken with vegetable fried rice and it was absolutely disgusting. I can't even describe the taste but it didn't taste like any other orange chicken I've ever had. The sauce was burnt onto the chicken, it had a unrecognizable funky smellb, my vegetable rice I THINK had mushrooms in it. IDK. But what I DO know is that I won't be eating from here again. YUCK.

Delivery- Ordered a chicken and garlic sauce and received vegetables and garlic sauce with a few pieces of chicken. Called to complain and the manager said that they would send a new one over and then got a phone call back from the manager after speaking to the owner she said the owner said no And that they used the correct amount of chicken Generals Tso chicken also was just balls of dough with a little piece of chicken somewhere in it
