Fred and Murry's Kosher Delicatessen

Fred and Murry's Kosher Deli delivers an exceptional dining experience, blending quality food, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere. We visited on a Thursday evening at 6:00 PM, and though the restaurant was not overly crowded (about 30% full), the service was prompt and efficient. The waitstaff quickly took our orders, and the food arrived promptly, fresh, and hot. I opted for the Sloppy Joe, which was generously stacked and packed with flavor. The rye bread was perfectly fresh, complementing the quality of the meat. However, the standout of the evening was the side order of French fries we shared at the table. These weren’t your typical string fries—they were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making them a delightful surprise. Fred and Murry's also offers classic Dr. Brown's sodas, and as a fan of the brand, I especially enjoyed the Black Cherry. In terms of affordability, this deli is reasonably priced, especially compared to other kosher delis I’ve visited in the past year. Discovering Fred and Murry's while getting my car serviced at Ray Catena was a fortunate find. For anyone who enjoys top-notch deli sandwiches, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for its great food, affordability, and overall dining experience.

The food was actually really really bad. I went for lunch while at work and this was terrible. I got a brisket sandwich and my work partner got a fried chicken sandwich. The brisket was dry and tasted like it was warmed up from yesterday. The rye bread with the sandwich was definitely old and stale because the bottom of the crust was crunchy. The fries need some kind of seasoning. The gravy for the brisket was okay. I don’t even need to say anything about the chicken sandwich just look at the picture of how it was assembled. He said the bread tasted stale too. I will return only for the pickles, they are pretty good. The food was not worth the price. I couldn’t finish the Brisket so I got McDonald’s after.

Absolutely love this place! I'm a sucker for corned beef, pastrami, on rye, coleslaw (and I never liked coleslaw beforehand), and a good Ole potato knishes, etc., there's so many other great options to choose from. The real "T" is that, I love cheese as well, but the sandwiches are so good, you don't even realize that they don't put cheese on any of the sandwiches. They are definitely a good reason for me to travel that far for work... and the crew there all have great personalities. They close at 8, I ordered later, right before closing, ran a little late, and the two awesome guy's that worked that night actually waited for me and didn't give me a nasty attitude because I arrived late, 7-8 minutes after closing due to traffic, and had very welcoming attitudes. Thank you for such great customer service every time I visit. (And they deliver) Anyone who stops here will not be disappointed! There's nothing to be disappointed about! 😃

What an outstanding deli! Everything's fresh & delicious. Of course, I had to have the overstuffed pastami on rye with spicy brown mustard and half sour pickles! I'll see you very soon Fred & Murray's! 😁

High quality traditional kosher deli. Everything you would expect in a kosher deli. Pastrami was perfect, liver was well-cooked, great knishes and sides. Would go here every day if it weren't for the saturated fat!
