Franks for the Memories

Nailed It! Spouse & I enjoyed a grilled hot dog, chicken wings and well done fries. All were delicious! First time in the area but….we will be back. Lake County Sales Tax is 33% less than Cook County! Service was Excellent.

Only reason i stopped in is because working nearby. Had the boneless wings yesterday and it was a no go.. came back today and ordered the 9$ italian beef Was pretty shocked at the small portion.. It tasted decent, but its nothing special. Wish the prices were a little lower compared to the quality of the food..

This past February marked the very first time trying this place and I'm so glad I finally gave the famed wings joint a shot. For the longest time I always thought this was just another Chicago style grill and that eventually someday I'll give it a try just to compare against dozens of other similar venues. I was dead wrong about this place, this is NOT just another Chicago grill! Franks for the Memories is special and a real gem in Mundelein. The local residents should be proud to have this iconic wonder. With the exception of the curly fries, we all ended up ordering different items to eat which was good so I could give an overall excellent rating for the food alone. My wife mentioned that the buffalo wings are some of the best wings she's ever had in her life, that burger and fries were awesome and my son never complains about the chicken strips wherever he goes. We'll definitely be back for more great grub and I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Make no mistake about it. These wings taste like they were air dropped straight from Buffalo. I've had plenty of wings from the Buffalo area and these stand up to the best. Workers and owner are always friendly too. Thanks for always coming thru to make our parties and gatherings better

Good ol hot dog style food spot. Hot dog was great and curly fries were awesome. The house made Suicide sauce was soooo good. Didn't get wings but asked for the hot sauce on the side to try and the awesome woman behind the hooked it up! Will definitely go back and try the wings!
