Fortune Inn Chinese Restaurant

We ordered take-out on 1/27/25. The food and service were great, and the price was right. I have never had better hot and sour soup in my life. Man, was it good, as was everything else we ordered. We'll definitely be back.

We tried this location and I must say the food is definitely not worth the amount of money spent. We spent around 100.00 dollars to try different things as we are foodies and this by far is not the place for Cantonese cuisine. Heavy on the salt, and the meat was not tender at all. We got Beef and broccoli with 4 seasons and but on chicken the meat was so tough. I think these owners need to retire and be blessed. This is not a place to go! Please don’t waste your time!

My husband and I decided to try a new Chinese place today because it is closer to the house. We ordered general Tao’s chicken, Szechwan chicken, egg roll, white rice, and chicken wings. Not a single thing was edible. Not even the rice. The rice tasted like they used dirty dish water to make it. I can make better tasting rice at home from a box of Minute rice. One of the chicken wings looked like someone took a bite out of it. None of the chicken tasted like chicken. The sauces were repulsive. We threw all the food away. Waste of $40. Now we have to figure out something else for dinner and we’re out $40.

Could not believe the food I received. Couldn’t understand because I come in for a doctor visit . I drove from four hours away thinking that this was good food. I remember eating here before I moved out of the area and I don’t remember ever having a problem. However , For what I paid for I feel was unfit. Egg foo yong smothered in gravy and I could not taste eggs. It was just smothered in gravy could not find nothing but cabbage a little bit of pork and not sure what else was in that. The next thing The eggroll was so greasy and just full of cabbage. Last thing my lunch came with a drink that was out of date since October 16, 2023. Please see picture. The picture of the food is what was left as you can see mainly gravy and once again I’m stressing could not find no egg in the egg foo young. I was pretty excited stopping there to have a good lunch. However now I’m mad at myself for wasting my money. What a mess :-(

The family who owns this place is amazing, always friendly and warm to everyone. The food is great and the prices are even better. We'll worth a stop for take out
