Fortune House Chinese Cuisine

Honestly heard so much hype about this place, knowing that they had multiple locations. So I wanted to try it out before heading to a concert. I will say the environment was very unique and such a great experience, but the food was pretty moderate with barely any taste. I hope next time I can try something different in hopes for better flavor.

Honestly such a vibe and excellent food and customer service. If you are looking for an Asian infusion or just some spectacular dumplings in Greenville Dallas, this is the place to go. Such a vibrant and fun place to eat and the food taste great. Don’t skip this place if you are in the area. A+

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fortune House Chinese, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a comfortable, cozy ambiance that made for a pleasant meal. The highlight of the meal, however, was definitely the rangoons. They were expertly prepared—soft, delicate, and packed with flavor. The filling was perfectly seasoned, and the broth was rich and aromatic. Another standout was the Boiling Beef Szechuan. The dish was beautifully executed, with tender slices of beef drenched in a spicy, savory sauce that had just the right amount of heat. It was a bold and satisfying dish, and I appreciated the depth of flavor in the Szechuan seasoning. As for the service, it was friendly, but it could have been a little more attentive. We did have to wait a bit longer than expected for refills and check-ins, but the staff was polite and accommodating when they did arrive. Despite the minor service hiccups, I would absolutely return to Fortune House Chinese. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere made for a very enjoyable dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I definitely went during a busy time, but the food and experience was pretty good. I will say if you don’t have reservations and you go during a busy time, you will wait minimum an hour. My party and I got lucky we were able to sit within 15 to 20 minutes of arrival because we sat at the bar, when we left the place, and almost made it back home, that’s when our actual table reservation had become available, which that took about 90 minutes later So be aware if you go during a busy time and you don’t sit at the bar have reservations you will be waiting a while. But the food was pretty good. I got the pork dish, I would like to try the orange chicken next. Orange chicken is one of those recipes that’s a staple bowl. The atmosphere was nice. The bar staff was really great. I did have to wait a while for my food to come out but again, I did go during a very busy day and time.

Went to Fortune House as a group of four for late lunch. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, and we appreciated the server’s menu insights. The food was tasty and servings were generous. We shared our main entrees around the table and everyone had plenty eat. I especially want to note that the prices are very reasonable for a sit-down meal in Lower Greenville. We averaged $30/person including a shared appetizer and drinks. An overall great spot for good eats.
