Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I ordered shrimp broccoli and it was disgusting. I could not even see the shrimp. It looked like it was breaded but it was not? The broccoli was not fresh. It looked and tasted horrible! Do not waste your money.
It was my first time ordering from this place and it was a memorable experience. The general tso was probably the worst thing I've ever tasted. And I get the same meal every time I get Chinese food. The managed to ruin my favorite meal outstandingly. Congratulations. For 22 dollars I feel scammed and insulted at the minal effort they put into cooking the food. Even the rice, which was probably made in a rice cooker , was disgusting.
The interior decoration was nice but way too many tables for the size of the restaurant. The wait staff was prompt and polite but I had a hard time communicating when I was ordering. They brought out complimentary fried noodles (chips) and a pot of hot tea. Enough to keep ourselves busy waiting for food. My son and I both ordered General Tso's Chicken from dinner combination menu and pork fried rice. It came with a egg drop soup, egg roll, chicken and choice of rice. The egg drop soup was too salty. I am used to very light egg drop soup. The General chicken was ok. The chicken wasn't crispy which I prefer and the sauce was little bit watery. I think perfect generals chicken is crispy and sauce that's sticky with strong flavor. The fried rice had a good smoky flavor but I felt that it needed more sauce. The fried rice was perfect when you had pieces of pork but there wasn't too many pork. The serving size for each dish was plenty. I couldn't finish my food. I would think that the price is on medium side with average dish costing around $12 to $15. I probably wouldn't come here again because of the cost and taste of the dish.
This used to be the best Chinese food in NYS. Used to tell people about it it was so good, the sesame chicken was the best ever. New ownership must have change recipes, quality is terrible now. Not the same Fortune Garden. 3 straight terrible experiences, food almost inedible. Sad, been going here for 40 years since I was a kid
Stopped by and ordered a lunch special CHICKEN w/ BROCCOLI (L2..w/ white rice and hot & sour soup). The order took about 10 minutes to fill. The food basically tasted like chicken & broccoli sautéed in a wok with soy sauce. It was NOT good. $11.25 + $0.94 (tax) = $12.19 totally not worth it. The hot & sour soup was decent. The white rice tasted like white rice :). But again, the dish tasted like they doused the food with soy sauce and then heated it up.
