Love fortune bowl! House rice is the bomb, I love the "free" crunchy things they give you when you first get there, the best house mustard and duck sauce. Their veggie lo main is delicious, and pu pu platter is always great starter. Wonton soup had homemade wontons.

Just wasn’t for me unfortunately. Tried their Sesame Chicken w/ fried rice and Combination Lo Mein. Flavors were ok; noodles had a bit of good smokiness to it (like cooked on a really hot wok), but still a bit bland. Fried rice was a simple stirfry with soy sauce. Chicken was kinda chewy; not the usual crispiness I would expect. Plus side was the venue itself. Definitely one of the nicer restaurants with a sit-down vibe; not the usual to-go walk-in counters. So if you want to eat in, then it could be a good option.

My take out order was very simple, just fried dumplings. When I arrived the owner/manager (?) checked me out and was very proud of his dumplings! He had every right to be! They were the best dumplings I've ever tasted!

Fortunate Bowl is with zero doubt the absolute best Asian I have ever had. I spent 8 years in the Air Force and had the privilege to visit many states and with no doubt Fortune Bowl is by far the best. Asian Bistro is next to Kroger on Hull Street and went there on the rare occasion that I could not order from Fortune Bowl. I ordered the same foods, General Tsos Chicken, mixed vegetables and fried rice. Not only did Asian Bistro not compare to Fortune Bowl, it was so bad that I threw out the entire meal. For as long as I live in this area, Fortune Bowl is the only Asian food restaurant that I will go. The food is mad with a love and caring of what they serve their customers. While other Asian restaurants may cut corners to make more money, Fortune Bowl does not ans they take great pride in their restaurant and food they serve their customers. I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing restaurant and the wonderful people that work there and make it all happe . Jeremy Prince. Customer for life!!!

Not many people eating at lunch. Egg drop soup was good, but noodles were not. Both of our entrees were good and served hot. Fried rice was really bland.
