About Fortunato's Italian Pizzeria

Welcome to Fortunato's Italian Pizzeria, located at 7700 Starkey Rd, Seminole, FL 33777, USA. You can reach us at (727) 393-4500 or +1 727-393-4500.

Fortunato's Italian Pizzeria specializes in Italian cuisine and is not categorized as a Chinese Restaurant. However, for local users seeking diverse dining options, Fortunato's offers a change of pace from typical chain restaurants with its authentic Italian dishes and fresh food.

Based on customer reviews, Fortunato's provides a friendly environment with welcoming staff. A notable feature is their lunch menu, which includes various specials and was a "delightful surprise" to one midday visitor. The restaurant prides itself on serving authentic Italian food that is fresh.

The menu at Fortunato's is diverse, with popular items including pizza and pasta dishes, which are consistently described as "delicious" and "go to" options for regular customers. They also offer other items such as chicken wings, Greek salad, and subs, which are also reported to be "very good." One particular side dish, the potato salad with dill, is highly recommended for those who enjoy dill.

Customers have noted the generous portion sizes. For example, a meatball sub was so large that two people sharing half of it, along with a Greek salad, could not finish their meal. This suggests good value in terms of quantity for some dishes.

One customer shared a mixed experience with the California wrap, noting that the chicken and bacon seemed to be of lower quality (pre-cooked strips and bagged bits) and would not recommend it unless those aspects are acceptable. This suggests that while the restaurant excels in its known Italian fare, some newer or non-traditional items might not meet the same standards.

Currently, the reviews mention "lunch specials" as a promotional aspect, offering value during midday hours. For more specific details on these specials or any other ongoing promotions, local users are encouraged to contact Fortunato's Italian Pizzeria directly using the provided phone numbers or inquire during their visit.

We arrived midday and were greeted by a very friendly staff. we were delightfully, surprised by a lunch menu with lots of specials. so good to find an authentic Italian restaurant with fresh food – a definite change of pace from the typical chain restaurant scene. The picture of the meatball sub in my post is half of the sub. My wife and I were sharing a sub and a Greek salad, which we together could not finish because it was so large.

We live nearby so we order from here at least once a month. The pizza and pasta dishes are always delicious and our go to. The chicken wings, Greek salad, subs are also very good. If you like dill the potato salad is something I would definitely recommend. Tried the California wrap (chicken, bacon, ranch wrap) for the first time and it was definitely lackluster. The chicken tasted like precooked Tyson chicken strips and the bacon tasted and looked like bagged bacon bits you'd get at the grocery store. Would not recommend the wrap unless you don't mind those 2 things. Overall a great restaurant especially if you stick to what they are known for.

Ordered Eggplant Parmesan. It came with a salad and "garlic knots". The salad was iceberg lettuce one quarter sliced of tomato, cucumber and an Italian dressing. The "knots" were almost raw dough swimming in garlic oil with Parmesan. When the entree arrived I realized I wasn't in Italy anymore. There was no Parmesan, the eggplant was way over cooked and the sauce from Sysco. Worst meal I had had the in a long time. Couldn't even eat it.

Family owned business that truly cares about their food. I Visited for the first time a few weeks ago, and I can say I was shockingly impressed by the quality of the food. The service was excellent. The garlic knots are amazing! Salad and soup was fresh and delicious. We arrived just in time to get their “early bird” menu, I ordered the chicken parm and still had leftovers. The prices are hard to beat. I will be back and I will continue to recommend to others.

We have gone here for years. The food is good has the home cooked by Grandma viv. Large portions. My lasagna was delicious I could not eat all of my dish served with salad and garlic bread swimming in garlic butter. My husband had spaghetti and sausage again a heavy serving with salad and bread. Reasonable prices .
