About Foodshion Oriental

Foodshion Oriental is a Chinese restaurant located at 25 E Bacon St in Pembroke, Georgia, serving the local community with a diverse menu of Asian cuisine. As a "Chinese Restaurant," Foodshion Oriental likely offers a range of dishes popular in Chinese culinary traditions, potentially alongside other Asian-inspired selections. Situated in Pembroke, GA, it aims to provide a dining option for individuals and families seeking Asian flavors, whether for dine-in or takeout.

The available customer reviews present a contrasting perspective on the dining experience at Foodshion Oriental. One review expresses a significant concern regarding food safety. The customer states that while the food "tasted well going down," it subsequently caused illness for their entire family. They explicitly mention that none of them were ill before eating at the restaurant but experienced vomiting after lunch. Notably, they mentioned that different items were ordered, suggesting the issue might not be isolated to a single dish. While they did enjoy the "strawberry banana with boba," this positive aspect was overshadowed by the negative experience with the rest of their meal. The reviewer concluded with a cautionary note regarding feeding the food to children, highlighting the severity of their family's reaction.

In contrast, another customer provided a more positive review, describing the food as "pretty good" and enjoyable for their family. They found the portion sizes to be "reasonable for the price" and appreciated the "wide variety of Asian cuisine" offered. This reviewer also mentioned that their children enjoyed the "Boba tea" and expressed certainty about ordering from Foodshion Oriental again in the future. This feedback suggests that some customers have had a satisfactory experience with the food and the overall value.

Considering these two reviews, it is evident that there is a significant discrepancy in customer experiences at Foodshion Oriental. The serious allegation of foodborne illness affecting an entire family raises significant concerns about food safety and handling practices at the restaurant. While another customer reported a positive experience with the food quality, portion sizes, variety, and the boba tea, the stark contrast with the negative review cannot be ignored.

Information regarding the environment of Foodshion Oriental is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. Aspects such as the restaurant's ambiance, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere are not mentioned. Potential local users might need to visit the location or seek additional information online (if available) to form an opinion about the dining environment.

Similarly, the reviews offer limited information about the services provided by Foodshion Oriental. The mention of a family having lunch implies that dine-in service is available. The positive reviewer's intention to "have it again" could refer to either dine-in or takeout. However, there is no explicit mention of takeout or delivery services. Local users interested in these options would need to contact the restaurant directly using the provided phone numbers: (912) 653-3555 or +1 912-653-3555 to inquire about their availability.

In terms of features, the wide variety of Asian cuisine mentioned by the positive reviewer could be considered a feature, appealing to those with diverse preferences within Asian food. The availability of boba tea, which was enjoyed by both reviewers (though one in isolation of the main meal), is another potential feature that might attract customers, particularly younger individuals or those who enjoy these beverages. However, these potential positives are significantly tempered by the serious food safety concerns raised in the other review.

There is no promotional information included in the provided reviews. Local users interested in knowing about any special offers, discounts, or new menu items at Foodshion Oriental should contact the restaurant directly via phone. It might also be worthwhile to check if the restaurant has any online presence, such as a website or social media pages, where promotions might be advertised.

In conclusion, Foodshion Oriental in Pembroke, GA, presents a mixed picture based on the limited customer reviews available. While one customer and their family experienced significant foodborne illness after eating there, another customer reported a positive experience with the food quality, variety, portion sizes, and boba tea. This stark contrast suggests a potential inconsistency in food quality or preparation. Local users considering dining at Foodshion Oriental should be aware of these conflicting experiences. The availability of a wide variety of Asian cuisine and boba tea might be appealing, but the serious food safety concerns raised in one review warrant caution. It would be advisable for potential customers to seek more recent reviews or perhaps inquire directly with the restaurant about their food safety practices before making a decision. The lack of information about the environment and the full range of services (like takeout or delivery) also means that local users might need to do further research or contact the restaurant for more details.

The food tasted well going down but it made my entire family sick . We were not ill before eating here but after lunch we were all throwing up and still are. We all ordered different items so it wasn’t one specific meal. I did enjoy the strawberry banana with boba but unfortunately did not enjoy the rest. Be careful when feeding to your children..

All around, petty good food that my family enjoyed. I thought the portions were reasonable for the price. They had a wide variety of Asian cuisine, and my kids like the Boba tea. We'll have it again, I'm sure.

I was just trying to grab dinner on my way home but the poor customer service just messed it up. I walked in to order and the cashier lady was deadlocked on her phone didn’t even notice I was standing right there. I said hi could I order? She didn’t even look up and me being nice said the second time without a response. I walked straight out and was happy not to get anything probably would have spoil the weekend If you in business to make money people are the one who will bring the money 💬

I got a box of rice, shrimp lomein, and sweet and sour chicken $65!! Lomein was dry and tasteless, sweet and sour chicken was over cooked. Prices are very high and food was not worth the price!! This was my 1st time here since their remodel, not sure ill come back rather drive a little further to Bloomingdale Chinese!

Ordered over $35 worth of food, went to order a $8 lemonade while I waited and the lady told me I would need to spend a minimum of $10. Keep in mind, I literally just gave her $35 so I was expected to pay another $10. I won’t be back. Food is overpriced and the lady at the front is very rude.
